Props to that workbench. Me and my girl live in a huge place, but we are planning to move in 1 year from now.. I keep this design in mind to build my own workbench in the shaft of our new home. It's a beautifull, practical workbench.
i just finished a similar project. i buld a bench similir to yours but one thing i am finding is i should of kept the bench at 2 feet with wise. mine is about 3.5 feet and i am noticing now reaching over to grab the tools on the peg board is a bit much.

Carpentry & comedy are high on my list of pleasures. :)...
P.S If you have any plans for a small, simple but sturdy bench made with joinery, i'd be very gratefull.
