I would be inclined to agree. I mean Anette is good but the song is more made for someone who is able to sing in an operatic voice.

I disagree with you. Tarja sings in a more rock-style for this song on the album. There are a fair number of Nightwish songs from Century Child on sung by Tarja where she doesn't use the operatic style seen in Oceanborn and such.

I guess I like her deeper voice better than Anette's.

To me this song is better with someone who has a deep voice.

Well, your opinion and I respect that. I can agree partially, like when Marco sings "Heaven Queen, cover me in all that blue" and the female vocalist responds, Tarja does sound better matched with the power falsetto there.

I'm someone who can appreciate both vocal styles on songs that lend themselves to it. For example, I prefer Anette on She Is My Sin but can't stand her on Wishmaster.

Some work, some don't, but I find NW's later songs better fit Anette's voice than earlier ones.

Deep Passion play is pry the best example of Anette's talent. The songs in there really seem to flow well with Anette's voice.

It seems though that Night Wish has left the metal behind and now seems to concentrate on more heavy rock than metal.
