  • You missed the best part u fuck nut

  • In soviet Russia, helicopters fly once

  • These are worse pilots on the planet. This is the second crash video i whatched from the same team today.

  • LOL

  • In Russia...Is standard landing. Time for vodka.

  • @SoCalDualSport

    Дурак, блин.

  • @shandl1 Is Russian letters...Yes?

  • @SoCalDualSport

    Yes.

I do not like stereotypes about Russian people and vodka ...

This joke is old and not funny ..

It is a pity that the helicopter was damaged.

Sorry for my english - google translator:)

I understand English well, but I speak too bad:)

  • @shandl1 I am Russian (born in U.S.A.) and you need to lighten up, (In Russia, there are no jokes but good snowcones).

  • @SoCalDualSport According to Yakov Smirnoff you have to submit your jokes to the Department of Jokes in mother Russia. Perhaps you would have less problems w/ shandl1 if you had done so.

  • @jlastre Yes, he got kinda butthurt. (I'm not really Russian). I just had to quiet him up a little...like the KGB. HAHA. Time for vodka.

  • Look at all that Vodka leaking out :o

  • he came flying and under walking

  • Did they patch out the crash animation?

  • does the pilot have a license?

  • I like the happy ass Nepalese music as if there's not a care in the world.....lol....

  • dumb ass. why didnt he try to fly to the top. stupid

  • Terrible pilot??? At 17,500 feet, the atmosphere is very, very thin. The propulsion you get from those blades is next to nothing

  • @SPBRG

In 2005, a Eurocopter landed on the summit.

    Search: helicopter landing on Everest

  • @SPBRG Yes. The altitude caused him to choose a shittastic landing spot. You are absolutely right.

  • @jaysk8er there aren't many helipads on everest....

  • not crashed but crash landing

  • The music was misleading...Where's the asian do-jo master here to do a karate training montage?

  • Russian Helicopter+Russian pilot=Dangerous.

  • @motokid032 а не пошли бы вы, на хуй, неуважаемый педрила?

  • Made in usa.

  • @LionTipu MI17, made in Russia. Try not to make yourself look like an idiot in topics you know nothing about, like aviation...

  • Oxyegen deprevation.

  • lets just call this the ne base camp now!!! LOL

  • is it still there?

  • G.E.I.R.O. (Ground Effect Induced Roll Over).

  • Chi era il pilota? Paperino?

  • Helicopter had plenty of performance. DA was obviously not the primary factor in this accident. Sure density altitude plays a role... It does every time we pick one up off the ground. But DA didn't cause this. And who ever said that a helicopter flys by deflecting wind off the surface.. And hovering over an uneven surface will cause this. Cmon. That's the most ridiculous thing I've heard today. We practice slope landings all the time. Even a private pilot can handle slope operations. This wreck

  • Air density does not have any effect what so ever on how smooth or rough a takeoff or landing is. Air density effects PERFORMANCE and that's it. If this was caused by a lack of performance you would see them drop immediately after dropping below Effective Translational Lift (ETL). But that is not the case, they chose a piss poor landing spot, end of story. Oh, and as helicopter pilots, we like wind, it increases performance, so that takes care of that retarded response.

  • Base camp

  • Something tells me this guy failed to do a power-check on approach, and things happened awfully fast when the ground got awfully close....

  • "Hi hun......listen...ummm..... I'm probably not gonna be home for dinner tonight...."

  • Someone's got to leg it down the mountain now then ! (lucky they survived this)

  • Commie pilot attempting to fly commie garbage............

    What would you expect?

  • I still don't see the crash...

  • @buddyboy138 -- The crash wasn't too bad ... but you can see at the end that they ruptured a fuel tank. They're gonna have a nice time getting it out of there (if they bother to.)

  • @nesokretep you missed the new size of the blades xD that chopper is still there up to this day

  • wow now how the fuck are u gonna get off the mountain?

  • Alright folks......Last Stop!

  • "a helicopter crashes while I play unfitting music"

  • I like how, instead of showing the crash, what happened is basically summed up by the helicopter starting to go out of control then the video jumping to it in a ditch :D

  • I'm not even a pilot, and my first reaction was "umm, you can't land there, dude". It looks like he might have made it if he turned 90 degree clockwise.

  • its not a crash its extreme landing

  • wouldn`t trust that pilot driving an ice cream van let alone a helicopter, wonder if his name was Mr Whippy

  • I was here this moment in 2005, 2 June . Russians pilot is very fool. And all Nepalis...

  • how dare u call the nepalis fool, u dare come here again and ure gona return with ur head chopped...

    mind it

  • i would never judge someone on something i know nothing about...but i am 99.9% sure the dumb asses on here calling this guy a terrible pilot have never even been in a helicopter in their lives and no video games do not count

  • Lets land in rocks sounds like a good idea....

  • why would you crash in the cold?

  • Well, I guess somebody's got a really nice tent now!

  • @evilassaultweapon lol wut...

  • @evilassaultweapon LOL!!!!

  • that's so retarded!

  • @bogdanb checkt this video --> " Kiratas:the Himalayas Race"

for more beautiful culture, history and people of the Himalayas.

  • a big Russian flying turd.

  • Terrible pilot.

  • @jaysk8er

Hm... well, you can hear there's pretty high winds and it says 17,500 ft... I hear the air gets thinner and helicopters often crash up there.

  • @Vire70 Lets take a closer look, he clearly still had power available since he was still able to counteract torque with his TR (no LTE from max power). He was also able to hold a hover for 10+ secs as seen in this video, meaning he had the power to do so, regardless of the air density. He chose an uneven spot to land, thats why he crashed, not DA.

Even if it was altitude that caused it, he probably should have checked what his aircraft was rated to handle before he flew up there huh?

  • @jaysk8er

Fair points. The landing did look kind of dubious.

  • @Vire70 P.S. The "high winds" aren't even audible till the cameraman is in the rotor down wash.

  • @jaysk8er No, it's extremely difficult to land on a mountain. Do your research on how helicopters fly, you'll find out why.

  • @hellcatdave1 Funny, I happen to know a thing or two about helicopters. If you think that him flying in the mountains forced him to land on extremely jagged and uneven terrain, you are a moron. A pilots first concern is the safety of his crew and his aircraft. If he can't land safely (obviously he couldn't), he should not have tried. Try to throw performance at me for this crash. If it was performance, it was his fault anyway. Weight and Balance and Performance are daily pre-flight checks.

  • @jaysk8er Sure, maybe a pilot error, but it doesn't make him a "Bad" pilot. Helicopters use air to provide lift, they push the air down so it can deflect off of a surface, if the surface is tilted, though, then it can tilt the helicopter itself.

  • @hellcatdave1 This is a joke right? You are trying to tell me that a helicopter in ground effect can be tilted by the the surface of the earth? 100% Wrong.

Helicopters lift is provided by the same concept that makes airplanes fly, Bernoullis Principle. Air moving over a rotorblade or wing is moving faster than the air going beneath it, causing a decrease in pressure over the rotor blade and an increase in pressure beneath the airfoil. Welcome to basic aerodynamics.

  • @hellcatdave1 Bullshit

  • @jaysk8er why don't you try doing that then

  • @claton95 Crashing because of poor choice of landing area? I'll pass.

  • @jaysk8er my bad

  • @jaysk8er Agreed

  • @jaysk8er you dont know how hard is for a chopper to go that high, over 9400ft. Actually that is about the only civilian chopper in the world that can go that high, but it is very difficult to manouver because the air is so thin. Only a few pilots dare to fly there. You don´t know physics and geography it seems, and the 17 that approve your comment either

  • @MrPaseante Absolutely agree. A helicopter is at risk of literally falling from the sky with such thin air which is an absolutely fact. I wouldn't want to do it.

  • @MrPaseante You are wrong. Air density did not cause this accident. He was able to hover which is where helicopters pull the most pitch and power. If air density was an issue, he would have sunk to the ground when he left ETL. He crashed because he tried to set it down in a fucking retarded spot. To correct you, this was filmed at almost 18,000 ft. But thats okay because the MI-17 has a normal operation ceiling of 19,690ft. I may not know physics, but I do know aerodynamics and piloting.

  • @jaysk8er I missed the one on 19400ft but anyway it is air density what makes it very difficult to smoothly take off or land in those conditions. Then there was the wind as he was trying to land further to the left, not where he crashed. Finally if you think so highly of yourself I recommend you to go there and teach all those "noobs" what piloting is. You can make a nice living out of landing and taking off Lutkla, big man.

  • @jaysk8er its the thin air...

  • That means they have to fly another chopper up with both a mechanic and replacement parts to retrieve their investment?

  • Don't worry. You're close to COMPETENT emergency medical care, out there in the middle of nowhere... That's what you get, rich fags.
