I am a tech at a Honda dealer and also own a 2008 Fit. I have had a lot of Hondas over the years and have never heard the noise that comes from this car out of any of those, 200K miles or not. There is a pronounced clatter, or knocking noise that I hear in your video that I have on mine as well. So far I have replaced the rooker arm assemblies and shaft, noise still there. Then techline recommended a new head. Just did that today and did not change a thing. i did a zero lash valve adjust
That exaclty what my brand new ge sounds like. nothing out of the ordinary. The engine is just so quiet that the injectors sound more pronounced than in otehr cars.

@ILoveMYHonda1984 Zero lash? That means there's no clearance between the rocker arm and the valve stem, which there should be.

Tick isn't an issue anymore now that it's running on 310cc injectors and boosted.

Sounds kinda loud to me, my old abused 94 Civic with 208,000 miles is quieter, apparently Honda is cutting corners with engines nowadays.
BTW, mine has a new timing belt, so it is not "timing chain" noise.

The sound came from the timing chain.
