I have a Shiba Inu of four months and your videos have been very helpful! Thanks for posting. He's learned sit, down, leave it and stay. I just need to learn the roll over and shake. Thanks again
@nick217 good luck with training your shiba! They are very smart, so i'm sure he'll learn it just fine. Roll-over was the hardest to train, since it is a two part process (lay + roll over)
Please post a video of your own once your shiba learns his tricks. I love seeing other shibas in action! :D

@ovechkin1717 If you are getting a puppy, I dont think that would work out. Puppies require that you take them out to potty every 2-3 hours. This is especially important if you're looking to crate train them.
If you're looking to pick up an older shiba, then yes it shouldnt be a problem. Kaji also stays at home while me and my gf are away at work during the week day. When we got him as a puppy my gf was not working yet, so she would watch him while I was away at work.
@LEG1N4M3NT i would spend about 30 minutes a day with him when i got home from work. I sort of made him work for his food, every time i fed him. started off with simple commands like "wait" (stay) and "sit". then slowly progressed from there.
patience and a lot of repetition is key in training dogs. Also, not letting them half-ass their tricks before giving them a treat is also important. At least this is what i learned from training him

I was thinking of getting a Shiba Inu, however I work during the day. Do they do ok if I am at work for a few hours a day?
