  • Nice video, seems easier than I had previously thought

  • your ballasts are vibrating

  • the 3 dislikes were the ones who touched their HID lights.

  • how mush does they cost

  • Great job thanks just got mine in today

  • WOW thoes were 6000K. Pretty blue to me, i thought they would be more white.

  • @11shore2 they still need to warm up, that's why. once they do, then they'll look a lot less like 8000K-10000K , lol

  • Nice and simple.....

  • I want to get some for my 86 toyota but it looks like a pain in the ass does any one know if it is? Lol I know the lights would be more then what my trucks worth but still haha!

  • @nuszky ahahahh no dude dont stress. let me put it in to simple terms. 1. replace the old with the new light. 2 hook the black/red wires attached to the light to the black/red wires from the box. and thats it my friend :)

  • that 1 dislike means one retard couldnt do it...

  • Do you have experience with 55W HIDs? Do I require a relay? I want to install HIDs on my 2011 Explorer that has halogen projectors. It's a 9005 bulb and I'm not sure if it's a bi xenon headlamp. I heard that my vehicle has the bulb on full power always and it just moves a cover whenever I want high beams. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

  • Nice video. Do you need two sets of ballists for hi and low beam? If so is there room to mounts both sets of ballists.

    THX

  • @hockeymn25 Make sure its a Bi-Xenon Converstion Kit, this gives both low (dipped) and high (main) beam lighting.

  • @SkateThatGibson I already have low beam xenons installed. So now what? I guess i need 2 more ballasts, right?

  • @hockeymn25 no just one set of ballasts

  • Tht was easy, thx bro

  • rice

  • @njariri4416 Rice = Race Inspired Cosmetic enhancement

How the hell is this Race inspired? Moron

  • Ok So does it matte what ballast i get as long as its xneon right? one of mine has gone bad so im not sure if i need to have the same exact ballast as the other one. need assistance! lol

  • I got a important question, so I installed my hid and did everything but the passenger side light mist of the time won't go on or sometimes both don't work :( I was thinking maybe its a fuse???

  • does any cable goes in the battery?

  • @3DEMENTES yes, If you get the ones with the relays.

  • @3DEMENTES no. all hes doing is for the power source is attaching the red and black wire from the ballast (black box) to the cars light source. which is where the old head light use to be

  • @3DEMENTES No, the power for the ballast or w/e is from your old headlight wiring harness you disconnected. You put the power and ground wire from your new kit into the power and ground of your disconnected harness.

  • Thank you, because of this video. i installed in less than 5 minutes.

  • @Forrzor there is no way you did all that in less than 5 minutes.

  • @caraudioman16 I legit did, what took me the longest was twisting the bulb back in, its really easy.

  • u don't have to plug it to the batery ?

  • @TheHemlen What for? He plugged it into the power from the original headlight wires. That's the power source.

  • @TheHemlen If you do plug it into battery then you would not be able to regulate on and off function of light. It is necessary to use headlight wires for power as that allows you to turn the light on or off.

  • I had the old sealed beam headlights and converted to projectors with angle eyes and 10,000k hids, however my high beam and low beam only shine like 10 feet ahead of my vehical....do you know what could cause this or how to fix it??

  • @bgftball51 adjust the beams?

  • @JustAStoner204 adjusted the assemblies, and the high beam is attached to the hid bulb and for whatever reason its halogen??

  • @bgftball51 did you install the ballest correctly cause without the ballest it is simply a crapy headlight

  • Win Cool this helped a lot

  • hey man iv got h4 in an older vehical. i switched from sealed beams to a angle eye projector. just hooked up my hids exactly like you showed in this vid only my low beam works... i have no clue what the problem could be.....any suggestions?

  • @bgftball51 Did you buy BiXenon?

  • i like your voice

  • Excellent guide. Pretty much exactly what i did to fit except more thorough. HID conversions are one of the best things you can and should do to your car. Off to fit a 2nd kit to my other car (H1 8000k) as opposed to (H3 6000k)

  • I want a full high and low lights at night time which Kit should i buy for my Suzuki Alto thanks as i am thinking of buying 1 from ebay thanks.

  • you have got 2 battries in your car while i got only 1 in my car. what do i do to install the second 1 which i dont have any battery that side thanks And also 1 more question Does these kits can install on any car as i am buying from ebay and i have got Suzuki Alto i just need a good view as i drive long distance for my work. am not using it for sportness but i am using it for my work So please give me a proper response and which Kit do i want in all weathers thanks.

  • thank you so much for the info vid

  • you sounded smart till you used electrical tape...smh

  • OK here is my problem i bought a kensun 8000k for h13 and it all comes with everything but the ends that you stick in the oem harness seem to be to big i know that i have the right type of equipment so what to i do please help

  • @1bennettclint are you installing them in the right light? maybe you are accidentally trying to put them in the high beam instead of the low beam

  • What K are those HIDs?

  • @HBZTwistaOk 6000k

  • Do you need special housing or can you use Halogen housing?

  • Wats a good website where I can buy some HIDs for my genesis coupe?!

  • @SlyGangster91 JAEDARAUTOMOTIVE sellers on ebay sell good kit from around 45 $ each Cheap and works:) just bought 2 kit of tem and its perfect:)

  • how do i find the power source on my elatra?????

  • @ksnab get a 5 dollar test light and start probing

  • It is ILLEGAL to install this into a headlight housing intended for a halogen bulb. It is illegal in all 50 states.

  • @gui577b if the light is white or in other words, as long the light is not blue or any other color or glare other drivers the police won't pull you over

  • @pilocho11 If the light is white you are correct. If they are any other color and in a standard headlight you will get pulled over.

  • @gui577b yeah id check where ur getting ur sources from cuz that is false

  • @gui577b no body really cares.

  • will a high beam bulb work on high and low?

  • @acballin15 No, the highs needs their own different bulb. I also wouldn't recommend installing hids in your highs just because it's not worth it. There isn't really any reason to have hid highs unless you use your highs on a daily basis for long periods of time. HIDs work better when they have time to warm up and stay on for a while rather than on and off constantly.

  • i would have made a proper connection. Not just pushing pins in the connector. Get an female connector and make harness.

  • so i guess that the factory installed headlight wires just float and are not connected to anything

  • my question is, do you have to buy 2 kits? one for low beam and another for high beam? or do people just installing them in their low beams?

  • @Jordan92028 People generally just install them in their low beams, like I do. There's no reason to install highs unless you use them for long periods of time on a daily basis. Highs are a waste of money, waste of time.

  • hell i just read the instructions that came with mine.

  • Perfect explanation, thank you so much! Those 6000k are nice!

  • You are awesome

  • i was looking at your website and im looking forward to buying a kit from you guys but quick question... if when i install the hid kit and when the kit is running on daytime running lights, the hid bulb starts flickering, it means i need a relay right? and if i install it and the daytime lights stop flickering the ballast shouldnt blow up right? because i bought an hid kit and relay from ebay and one of the ballast blew up and i was wondering which one might be the one that caused the problem.

  • This was a great instructional video!

Before I buy this I want to make sure they are not illegal in NH, right?

  • @itsjustlizzieee the whole country says these are illegal lol

  • @itsjustlizzieee It is definitely legal. Unless you change the look from white to blue or yellow or any other color. That is illegal.

  • @Pseud0Link actually yellow is legal up to 6000k is legal more than that is illegal and yellow is definately not higher than 6000k yellow is below the halogen lighting in the kelvin colour temperature...

  • @samfndz You should learn to use punctuation, because that was just a run-on sentence that made no sense. Obviously I know 6k is not yellow. It is bright white with a hint of blue, which is legal. I said specifically blue or yellow, which would be either 3k or 10k. Those colors would be ok for fogs but not for headlights. People still do that for looks unfortunately but it's honestly a hazard for themselves since the light output is shit.

  • very good video

  • this is the best step by step instruction video i have seen so far. its exact instructions with the right amount of talking. other videos talk too much or they play music and dont show everything.
