I want to get some for my 86 toyota but it looks like a pain in the ass does any one know if it is? Lol I know the lights would be more then what my trucks worth but still haha!
@nuszky ahahahh no dude dont stress. let me put it in to simple terms. 1. replace the old with the new light. 2 hook the black/red wires attached to the light to the black/red wires from the box. and thats it my friend :)
Do you have experience with 55W HIDs? Do I require a relay? I want to install HIDs on my 2011 Explorer that has halogen projectors. It's a 9005 bulb and I'm not sure if it's a bi xenon headlamp. I heard that my vehicle has the bulb on full power always and it just moves a cover whenever I want high beams. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.
Ok So does it matte what ballast i get as long as its xneon right? one of mine has gone bad so im not sure if i need to have the same exact ballast as the other one. need assistance! lol
I got a important question, so I installed my hid and did everything but the passenger side light mist of the time won't go on or sometimes both don't work :( I was thinking maybe its a fuse???
@3DEMENTES no. all hes doing is for the power source is attaching the red and black wire from the ballast (black box) to the cars light source. which is where the old head light use to be
@3DEMENTES No, the power for the ballast or w/e is from your old headlight wiring harness you disconnected. You put the power and ground wire from your new kit into the power and ground of your disconnected harness.
@TheHemlen If you do plug it into battery then you would not be able to regulate on and off function of light. It is necessary to use headlight wires for power as that allows you to turn the light on or off.
I had the old sealed beam headlights and converted to projectors with angle eyes and 10,000k hids, however my high beam and low beam only shine like 10 feet ahead of my vehical....do you know what could cause this or how to fix it??
hey man iv got h4 in an older vehical. i switched from sealed beams to a angle eye projector. just hooked up my hids exactly like you showed in this vid only my low beam works... i have no clue what the problem could be.....any suggestions?
Excellent guide. Pretty much exactly what i did to fit except more thorough. HID conversions are one of the best things you can and should do to your car. Off to fit a 2nd kit to my other car (H1 8000k) as opposed to (H3 6000k)
you have got 2 battries in your car while i got only 1 in my car. what do i do to install the second 1 which i dont have any battery that side thanks And also 1 more question Does these kits can install on any car as i am buying from ebay and i have got Suzuki Alto i just need a good view as i drive long distance for my work. am not using it for sportness but i am using it for my work So please give me a proper response and which Kit do i want in all weathers thanks.
OK here is my problem i bought a kensun 8000k for h13 and it all comes with everything but the ends that you stick in the oem harness seem to be to big i know that i have the right type of equipment so what to i do please help
@gui577b if the light is white or in other words, as long the light is not blue or any other color or glare other drivers the police won't pull you over
@acballin15 No, the highs needs their own different bulb. I also wouldn't recommend installing hids in your highs just because it's not worth it. There isn't really any reason to have hid highs unless you use your highs on a daily basis for long periods of time. HIDs work better when they have time to warm up and stay on for a while rather than on and off constantly.
@Jordan92028 People generally just install them in their low beams, like I do. There's no reason to install highs unless you use them for long periods of time on a daily basis. Highs are a waste of money, waste of time.
i was looking at your website and im looking forward to buying a kit from you guys but quick question... if when i install the hid kit and when the kit is running on daytime running lights, the hid bulb starts flickering, it means i need a relay right? and if i install it and the daytime lights stop flickering the ballast shouldnt blow up right? because i bought an hid kit and relay from ebay and one of the ballast blew up and i was wondering which one might be the one that caused the problem.
@Pseud0Link actually yellow is legal up to 6000k is legal more than that is illegal and yellow is definately not higher than 6000k yellow is below the halogen lighting in the kelvin colour temperature...
@samfndz You should learn to use punctuation, because that was just a run-on sentence that made no sense. Obviously I know 6k is not yellow. It is bright white with a hint of blue, which is legal. I said specifically blue or yellow, which would be either 3k or 10k. Those colors would be ok for fogs but not for headlights. People still do that for looks unfortunately but it's honestly a hazard for themselves since the light output is shit.
this is the best step by step instruction video i have seen so far. its exact instructions with the right amount of talking. other videos talk too much or they play music and dont show everything.
