For me, that night in Grant Park, where I was, was about November 1963. It was about April 1968. It was about June 1968. It was about those who marched in the streets in 1969 and 1970 and 1971. I remember people crying on November 22nd 1963. I'll remember people crying in Grant Park on November 4th 2008. It's been 40 years since I've been proud to be an American. That night I was proud.

1:40 secs in and I was already sobbing, then this man made me sob uncontrollably, and by the end I was still sobbing, and smiling, and repeating, YES WE CAN! Yesterday was an emotional day spent in a long line with my fellow Americans waiting to vote (>2hrs) and capped by wild, emotional disbelief and tears of joy! Historic, beautiful, awesome, all rolled into one. Tears of joy! YES WE CAN!
They are passionate, but misguided. Its like fans at a rock concert, except they probably know less about Obama than most people know about rock stars.
