Gleaning, its mentioned in the bible, old testament, nothing shameful at all, better to glean some fresh produce than modern-day gleaners that glean cardboard, plastic containers, aluminum cans and other recycables which they cash in for fiat currency,...NOT! Better to glean grain, fruit and veggies,...thumbs up and thankin' my pal slobomotion for sharin'!! =D

This is a brilliant documentary I recommend everyone see and I really appreciate the English subtitles. I am near Paris and glean. Not too often but I do it. Wow, have I ever made some scores! You need to plan, have a cart, a friend to help you carry and then take it home and process it. It is just great and we could feed everyone here if they would get people to do this. It could be organized.

French people are interesting. Very laid back. It doesn't look like the type of place I would like to live, but that is where some of my ancestors are from.

@brian8793 I moved here from the States and love it. There is plenty of sun but not much over Paris, that is true, it tends to be overcast. The weather is very changeable here and we often get scattered showers and then bright sun for a bit.
