@sovietcabbagefarmer: Go to kurtboyer(dot)com. That guy has a cool ACCF pattern maker program on his site. You select a graphics file and it converts it to the appropriate format; you still have to fill in the squares in-game, but the results are very good.

@TheStickynoodle: Yes. They designed it as a "feature" to make paths where you walk often, but it's far too sensitive and it's easy to turn your whole town into a desert.

@MegaStargirl87: From walking/running on the grass too much (and from having many Wi-Fi visitors who did the same). The grass has since grown back though. I'll make an updated town tour video at some point.

@Pivotoverbeing: Avoid walking/running on it as much as possible. It's best to make paths and walk only on the paths (as much as possible). Planting flowers also helps grass regrow quicker. But it can still take months of daily playing to grow it all back.

@Sparky282828: They are patterns you can get from Wendell. They're used to protect your grass. Wherever you walk repeatedly, grass wears away and you can be left with a virtual desert. So walking only on paths saves the grass. And yes, I didn't have much grass in this video, but my paths were fairly new. It takes months for the grass to regrow.

@SpottedCorgi: I don't use cheats, but I suggest playing at night this summer and catching lots of bugs. Many of the beetles on trees are work 1k, 6k, 10k, or even 12k apiece. You can make a lot of money in a short period of time doing that.

@muffiniseenijsbeer: No, it's not cheating to plant money trees. That's an ability that has been around since the GameCube game, and animals even talk about doing it. If anything, it's a risky investment since the trees may not grow and you could end up losing money. I don't think money trees are very effective as a money maker, so I don't bother with them.

@muffiniseenijsbeer: City Folk and Let's Go to the City are the same game; it just has different names in different parts of the world. You can't record videos in-game. I use a TV tuner card.

@ategaby: About a month or so after first getting Nookington's, Nook will ask you what you value most in a store. If you choose "good hours," he will remodel back to Nook 'n' Go. If you choose "variety," it remains Nookington's. If you choose "balance," it changes back to Nookway.
