all types of headphones can be connected to ps3 ( JUST MAKE SURE that the jack can connect ur 3.5mm headphones )

even my ps3 had the same problem.

there might be a problem in ur headphones

i had problem in my AV Cord too

i gave that wire to retailer shop (it was under warranty) he returned to me in 2 days and the wire is totally perfect now

i can hear both the sides :D

simple

1: switch off ur ps3

2: plug ur mic jack and to usb port

3: switch onn ur ps3

4: go to settings / accessories / audio , make sure u have selected ur USB headphones.

(just talk over there and make sure you can hear urself)

if you can hear urself

you must hear other while gaming.

I connected the mic to the USB Sound jack and the jack to the PS3, but the PS3 won't take any sound input fro the mic, like you checked in Accessory settings, the meter doesn't fluctuate when I talk.

(I checked my headphones and sound jack to my pc to check and they both work fine)

swith off ur ps3 , connect usb to sound jack to ps3 , and connect ur mic to that jack!

then swith onn ur ps3

now go to settings / accessories settings / audio devices / then

microphone level set it to 4 or 5

Input device - USB HEADPHONE SET

output device - system default device

press ok
