  • My Swiss is 1.5 years old 105lbs.. Female.. Ripley :) she is still a BIG excitable puppy

  • About how much does he weigh?

  • ok i need help!!! cane corso , greater swiss mountain dog, or african boerboel. i love all three of them. but i obviously can not have all three. so what do you think?

  • @chrisychris2 sounds like you just want a guard dog ?

  • @chrisychris2 greater swiss. the other two will either rip your face off, or the faces of your neighbor's children. greater swiss mountain dogs are fun, obedient, and their size and the deepness of their bark will deter even the stupidest of robbers. also, because of their loyalty, when it came down to it, I have no doubt they could defend a family. the key word is "defend" not "go on crazed attack"

  • i have white one btw nice training

  • It really is amazing how they're all so similar.

  • I really wanna get one of these dogs....i just need the money and a place of my own...they seem like a great breed

  • MY GRANDFATHER HAS A GREATER SWISS MOUNTAIN DOG NAMED SYLVIA. SHE IS A GREAT DOG, JUST HUGE!

  • Swissy's are such beautiful dogs - and they sure seem to have "Great" personalities too. ;) For those of you that love Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs you might want to check out our funny Swissy Cart Training video.

  • i have a greater swiss mounain dog and shes so crazy

  • Really miss our Swissy! I've watched this 4x

  • Love this breed and this dog is gorgeous!!

  • A house or farm is ideal. A garden does not replace walking, but it does give the dog more freedom and allow him to follow his instincts and guard the property. This makes him more content and even-tempered. In addition to the garden, the dog does, of course, need exercising through walking or other activities.

  • They all must be the same! We have a 1 yr old female acts the same so funny! She is a great gaurd dog. Her size and bark alone are a great deterent. I will never buy another breed again.

  • I am not sure why I keep your video in my favorite places because it makes me cry every time I see it. We lost our swissie a year ago, when he was 8 and everything I see in your swissie is the exact same mannerism. They are such wonderful unique dogs, and they do certain things that other dogs don't do. Its been very hard for me to get over the loss and all I can say to you is Love Your Dog each and every day

  • @coorny01 i know what your going through i also lost my dog and it hurts me when i talk aboout it everyone says its ok but thats because they dont know what its like so hang in there i know i am

  • i like it and I hope i could own it some day

  • I waited three years to get one.. It was more than worth the wait..

  • I have one of these they very beutiful breed and very sweet, however they are slow learners with a puppyhood that can last up to 2 years! But they are very enthusiastic I love my swissy he is so funny.

  • So its basically like a short haired Bernese Mountain Dog?

  • ya exactly

  • Haha yep my Toby does that position too.

  • What a cutie. :)

  • does he drule alot

  • Actually Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs are considered dry mouthed dogs so to answer your question plain and simple no.

  • GREAT DOG !!!
