Another failed design with external buttons. Alcatel used to make a phone that looked like a clamshell and had NO EXTERNAL BUTTONS to waste your money but at £5 each they were sold out within a day. If anyone knows of a robust phone (more robust than Sonim XP and Samsung Solid) that folds please let me know.

lost this phone this december . got another nokia (i bought a nokia 1661) (thinking it could be an ok replacement) I Was kinda wrong . 1661 is not bad phone with a flashlight and composer and spreadsheet but no bluetooth web or notes. THIS NOKIA 2720 IS IRREPLACEABLE . THE BEST PAY AS YOU GO PHONE EVER MADE. thinking of getting it again.

Can someone help me every time i turn on the phone it wont read my sim card, and then it goes to a blank white screen i hear 3 beeps, and then i close the phone and it turns off, for me to turn it on i have to take out the battery and put it back in and when i do, it does the same thing

@asianidks18 I'm not using this phone, just did the unboxing. See, the problem is that this phone doesn't have any external memory, it's just those 32MB of internal memory, so you really can't store a whole CD in it. The MP3 function is for ringtones.

The 2720 is a flimsy piece of crap that doesn't do HALF of what my 7510 Supernova did, it's built a fraction as well as the 7510, and was the "best" phone T-Mobile had on the Nokia lineup when I went in today because my 7510 quit working after a year of very hard and continuous service. The 7510 was the best phone I've ever used, something I doubt I'll be able to say for this toy.

Also can't help but ask what's with the unboxing obsession on YouTube? Geek porn, it's creepy!

@edviux6 Tik unboxą padariau, pats naudojausi tik gal pusę dienos :) Šiaip kas naudoja tai nesiskundžia, iki šiol dar nebuvo problemų.. Man irgi patiko, ekranui gal šiek tiek dydžio trūksta, bet viskas matosi puikiai. Vienintėlis minusas, tai kad reikia labai saugot korpusą, nes blizgi plastmasė - žiauriai raižosi, o šiaip telefonas kaip telefonas, nieko įspūdingo iš funkcijų nėra, bet patogus ir paprastas naudoti jei nori skambint ar sms rašyt :)

we have three of these phones & they're great. good battery, good reception, slim & sleek. fm radio isn't that loud though, but over all great basic phone!!!!!

how's camera in this phone? i played with it at my local tmob store. it's not that loud, lcd resolution is horrible. asia and europe get 2730 candybar, 2mp cam. usa gets 2720 and similar folding sliding and candybar overprised low end shit.

The camera really sucks. If you're looking for a camera-phone, than this is not for you. This phone doesn't even have a memory card, and you won't save much pictures in 32mb, so.. Oh, and there's also no USB connection, so it's bluetooth or nothing. I really would recommend this phone only for people who need stylish looks and would only use it for calls or messages.

I don't really use this phone, but person which does is pretty happy with it. She likes the big fonts, the ringtone is pretty loud, battery lifetime is pretty good, and build quality is quite decent as well. On the other hand, the camera sucks (basically because it's 1.3mpx), there's no memory card slot, the screen could be bigger and have some more colors.. Overall I'd say it's a good buy for the price if you need a stylish, well built phone for talking, writing sms or maybe listening to radio.
