How is this even a story? He didn't quit an important job, he quit a job selling cars. Who cares. He already used up all his vacation days and wanted more so he quit? His company already gave him enough days to see his son play. What a bullshit story.

Yeah I wish I had dad like that. Mine left the country after my parents got divorced (I was 7) and started his 3rd family. Me and my little sister played Rugby for 4 years league and High school and he never came to a single game. Thankfully I have an amazing mom. Raised 3 kids on her own and had to sue my dad for child support. She could always recognize me on the field and drove us to rugby practice at 630am.
My dad felt his job was more important than seeing me play football and wrestle. Now my dad regrets choosing his job over going to my games and meets.

You seem to have a set so, you should go up to every kid that plays a sport where there dads are not there and wish their dad would be there to see their games and tell them that they're ridiculous.
