Not even 10% of the people in that place use MDMA. It's mostly coke and alcohol. This place sucks bigtime... it's for tourists and people who think they have money and like to show off. Also way to expensive.
Depends on your music taste. Studio80, Westerunie, Gashouder, Trouw, Sugar Factory I prefere. But Home, AIR, Melkweg, Paradiso, Panama, Club Arena all much better places regardless of music taste.

Amsterdam does not have a single trance club. The Dutch DJ's killed trance and they suck. AIR sometimes has trance, which is just a 2 minute walk from Escape.
As for House, totally depends on which house type. Places like Panama and Escape are about dirty & latin house, places like Trouw, Sugar, Studio80 have electric and deep house. Totally different people.
If you're looking for true techno (berlin, detroit techo) then Westerunie is the place te go, but studio80 never really fails.

well im from amsterdam i recommend you check out these clubs: The Sand (to bad they are on a break) i dont think there will be any partys in july. But there are other alternatives The Powerzone and Panama

Unless you think trance is techno, minimal or house that answer is no. Just lookup the current agenda.
Akhnaton has (goa/psy) trance party's now and then. Other then that, maybe organized events in the Sand, Westerunie or Powerzone.
