  • @JorJor444 your right it broke my heart when Sam saw Dean and their mom hugging and considering the different circumstances yea I understand Sam's point of view on family

  • And when Dad came home... Dean got his ass kicked all cause of Sam.

How can Sam not see the hell Dean went through being responsible to keep him safe? I sure wouldn't want to have to answer to Papa John O.o

  • The utter fear on Dean's face when he said, "And when Dad came home..." I honestly don't know what to make of that.

  • @AshleyHalliwell3 Well, consider what John's reaction must've been to being told that Sam was missing on Dean's watch. All he cared about was keeping his boys safe, think about what we know of Sam in college. and John said his biggest issue with it was Sam would be vunerable. Think about all we know of John, would you really want to be in Dean's shoes? Cuz whatever his punishment was, it had to be quite severe. I'm gonna say Dean's ass was grass when John got ahold of him.

  • Ouch. But I do think Sam's heaven is a bit weird. Come on, surely Jessica would be the FIRST memory there (if it isn't Dean)? I'm a bit suspicious.

  • sam: "Bones was my DAWG!" is it just me or is that just sexy!

  • I felt like Dean was a bit selfish. Of course I understand he is hurt that his brother's memory is when he is alone and away from him, but Sam's childhood was not normal and like many have pointed out, Dean had four years of normality with his mom and dad. Sam felt normal when he was away, either at someone else's thanksgiving or away at Stanford. Sam didn't lash out when Dean had his heaven with his mom and got to hug her, so Dean should not have lashed out at the Sam's heaven.

  • @nureallycool but all dean ever wanted for his brother was family. sam never got to know family. their family was broken before sam had any real memories. dean did everything to keep his brother as innocent as possible for as long as possible. can you blame him for bein a bit upset? dean practically raised the kid. he was dad when dad wasn't around. i mean really, would you be ok with the fact that your younger sibling thought of heaven as every memory away from you? really?

  • @joisey10 I wouldn't like it if my sibling thought about it, but even if Dean did raise Sam all his life and protected him WITH his life, it wasn't the crust cut off of his pb & j sandwiches. Sam didn't get the normal thanksgiving, didn't get to stay at a school and make friends, and didn't see his dad probably for days when he was out hunting. I felt for Dean here, but I think he should've understand, even just a little, Sam's perspective on what family means to him.

  • @nureallycool I get where you're coming from. but understand that all Dean ever does is try to keep the family together. To keep them safe. And to find out, after all these years of dying for eachother...litterally, Sam's happiest memories are away from him. Dean's got a right to feel a sting. Well actually with all of the effort he's put into trying to keep him and Sam as a family, as much as two hunters can be, to have this kind of thing pretty much thrown at him. gotta hurt, give him a break

  • @joisey10 I am giving him a break. It hurt seeing him like this. But not everything can be focused just on Dean's happiness or what he wants. Sometimes he tries to hold onto things so tight that he ends up making decisions with consequences (i.e. Sam's tortured soul). I don't want the focus be everything on what Dean wants, but also what Sam wants. I don't think Sam wanted to be away from his family, but he wanted to be normal for once and can we really blame him?

  • @nureallycool you're right, it's not supposed to be focused on what Dean wants or his happiness. And it should also focus on Sam's happiness and wants as well. But come on, from the get-go they've never been able to have any sort of happiness or get what they want. Dean's focus was family, Sam's was being normal. Either way, they both got royaly screwed. Dean couldn't kill his brother, hence him putting Sam's soul back. Sam runs away to live normalySo honestly, can we blame either one of them?

  • @joisey10 You're absolutely right. We can't blame either of them and this concludes that even thought they are and always will be family, each of them would want something they can never fully have. Maybe Dean will get the brotherly family bond with Sam back and maybe Sam will still be normal despite his tortured soul.

  • @nureallycool all we can really do is hope. These two, more than most, deserve at least some sort of normality...and as far as i can see, the only normalicy they have ever really had, the only constant is dying...and eachother

  • sam and his dog are so lovable.

  • Dean is an awesome and caring brother but I would have done the same as sam..its not easy growing up without a mom and dad..he just wanted a normal life..that's all..nothing wrong with that.

  • Have u noticed that everytime they go to a Sam version of Heaven Dean gave him crap about it i mean at least Dean had 4 years of a normal life and not once did Sam give Dean crap about the whole "home scene" of heaven when Dean hugged their mom in a way i think dean was kinda selfish about Sam's feelings toward what heaven means to him but can understand dean feeling like some didnt need him...but damn laid a guilt trip on him throughout the whole thing...

  • awwww this made me cry:( i can totally c where dean is coming from

your whole world revolves around a person, and then they tell u they basically don't need u and they've got other places they'd rather be

  • What it all comes down to is that Sam isn't as selfless as Dean. (And its understandable.)

  • @Orochi2345678 I wouldn't say that. Sam sacrificed himself for the world last seas. I don't think you can get more selfless than that. He's also tried countless times to make the same sacrifices for Dean as Dean has for him, he's just always prevented from doing so. Sam is a different man than Dean, but he's just as good-hearted. He's been afraid of himself his entire life. This clip might imply he didn't appreciate Dean, but in the end it was his love for him that allowed him to save the world.

  • seeing sam treasure these normal life moments are gold <3

  • whats the song when dean wakes up in the car?

  • @chaosofthedowned8 Knockin on Heaven's Door by Bob Dylan

  • I can see where Sam's coming from. Dean had at least four years to live a relatively normal family life with a mother who loved him. He was taught through his early childhood that family equals love, safety, and protection. Sam grew up in the aftermath of their mother's death, and was taught by John that family equals fear, anger, and ostracization. Sam has always wanted to feel normal, and his family was never that. It makes sense that he treasures the moments where he felt like any other kid.

  • @bshern well put, bshern. :)

  • @bshern ever think us fans take this show too seriously?

  • @love0the0Winchester Haha, yes, we definitely do.

  • @bshern I agree with you completely... but at the same time I feel sorry for Dean cause all he wants is for people to love him and need him as much as he needs and loves people... He just wants someone to care about him above anything else and never throw him away... just like how he feels about Sam and it's really sad when he gives all his concern and love and attention to someone and they don't give it back...

  • Sam and his dog damn near broke my heart.

  • aw, damn.....i feel so terrible for dean!! the worst times in his life are the best in his brother's......damn, poor dean....=(

  • Aww, the dog is cute :)

  • Does Sam love his brother? Absolutely. But "family doesn't mean to me, what it does to you".

Dean places his family needs above his own.
