Haradhan told me during shooting that this song was written by his Granpa Bipindra Das, other bauls were also present there like, Satyananda Das Baul ect who did not contest his claims ... whether Bipindra is nabani I don't know.
There are many variations of this song. First time I heard this song was back in 2005 at Santiniketan Pous Mela (see Baul Song - 2) . This time around in 2010, I heard it from 5 different singers. It certainly has become very popular since 2005. No doubt a beautiful song. Thanks for the upload.

Bipindra Das is the author of this song is the grandfather of the present singer Haradhan Das Baul.
