WOW, what a dumb bitch. 2 kids by different fathers, and clung on to some dude who nothing to do with it. Coming back home is one thing; she's just a loser wholesale
I'm 20 and I still live with my parents mainly because I can't afford to live on my own either. I make less than $200 a week and I have school to pay for. But I do my part by working for my parents on Sundays, paying for my phone bills, taking the bus as often as I can, and making sure my parents don't pay any more than $100 if for some reason I need extra help with tuition bills. My benefits? I have a place to sleep, food to eat, and a computer with internet, that's it. I expect nothing more.
myself and my parents still live in the same house even though i am 30, we don't have any problem getting along with each other, i will say maybe it's different because i am disabled and my parents have been my carers for many years, but as the years are going on i can see me becoming more of there carers as the years ahead as they are both in there middle 60's bless em, wounderfull parents.
I moved out on my own when I was 18. Life is hard but you do what you gotta do. No reason for your kids to be living at home in their 20's - go get a damn job.
I remember during the 1990's recession, I knew a family where the husband, and accountant, was unemployed 2 years. His wife became the breadwinner, still kept house. The husband/father did nothing. Her stress showed.
I asked my mother why he didn't just take a lower-paying job, and she said "he's an educated man, and he doesn't really want to cook at the local diner or wash cars.
Here's what I learned; people are NOT meant to support layabouts. Don't let it happen.
Dr. Phil is an exploiting douche-bag. I'm not trolling, the situation these families and individuals face should not be televised for the world to see. Just because i watch this show does NOT mean i agree with it.
@MargotRebbecaNosh Dr phil gets to help people who could not afford help, normally and he is not a dousche.he is a caring, decent human who truly helps people .We all can't help, people for free-but he gets paid well and gets to help people all over. That is awesome. Everyone volunteered themselves to be on here-and its not for your enjoyment and to judge-its to help people who watch as well-Duh.So funny that you watch but don't agree-Thats hypocritical
@singpraise247 yah, its really nice he helps these people, i just dont agree with going on national television about it. It's stupid, and personally i think its exploiting.
To save money, it may seem like a good idea to take in extended family members, but tough economic times shouldn’t be a free pass for freeloaders! Dr. Phil speaks with people fed up with family members who aren’t contributing.
*sigh* It's not 'funny', it's just different than you are used to listening to. He'd say the same of you. It doesn't matter, but please drag yourself in to the 21st century at some point, okay?

It's a hard thing to grow up. The reality is we all need to go through the hard times in order to grow and learn. Avoiding it creates more problems.

I'm living with my parents. But I'm a 20 year old college student. Not a slob with kids and a dog I don't take care of.
