This was my party of choice when I first played this game. Little did I know that none of my characters would be able to cast healing spells; halfway through the game I had to give up and restart because I could never adjust to only using healing items (all my playthroughs after that always had Carlie in the party ^^)

I've played this game before and I love how each character has their own intro into the game. It gives a lot of depth to it and gives each character a REASON to actually to go out and accomplish something.

I agree this intro isn't as sad as...others...but that's not the point, I don't think. You're not supposed to feel SAD over Eagle's death, you're supposed to feel RAGE. The entire point of this intro is to make you hate Isabella as much as possible. Lise's intro will only hammer that point home further.

Hmm... If memory serves right mana was being corrupted in Child of Mana (and maybe depleting at the same time... havn't played it in a while so i can't remember to well), the plot was good and everything, but gameplay was lacking in the game a bit, I wish they'd remake Seiken Densetsu III for the DS or at least the 3DS, I'd like to fight all 3 final bosses and have all 6 characters playable

In Legend of Mana you had to rebuild the world that was destroyed ages ago, that's why the Mana Tree only appears late in the game; once you do one of three main quest chains, you have the option to go to end game or continue doing the remaining quests.

A magic play will be a great help to me definitely. I tried playing a magic heavy team back when I first started, but played it like I'd play a regular RPG so I had problems. Seeing a magic team in action with a symbiotic part will be good.

I love this game. I played this game since 2003, and I played it again 3 years ago which is 2009. This game will be on my top list, and I like Lise's path. Hawk is my favorite character, and Lise is my secondary favorite character. :)

@herocody92 The Mana series does that a lot, where they have characters in different games with similar names but no concrete relation between them. Basically, you could probably think of each Mana game taking place in a different continuity, since each one is a self-contained story. So no, it's not the same character, but clearly in Sword of Mana she was introduced to be an homage to this Isabella.
