Dude, I have listened to almost every version of this song and youtube. Your version is by FAR the best. Even after listening to this song 10 times in a row, your version was captivating, it had exactly the right feeling. Wonderful job. Oh, and I think the fast intro is an improvement too honestly.

I found this movie (the legend of 1900) I was walking down the isle when I saw it. it has become one of my favorites of all time. It shows hollywood you don't have to be dirty to make a great movie; you just have to have "talent"

Yes, it's too fast. And yes, the theme is too slow. Rachmaninov style! My style! Complete-disregard-for-tempo-r­omantic-style! Like it or don't! XD

@benjpianist Did you just say Rachmaninov completely disregards tempo? Ok that really is wrong. You play this very well. My opinion is that the intro is too fast though. But, it's true you should play it in your own style.

But don't even begin to think that in any composition by someone like Rachmaninov there is a complete disregard for tempo.
