This is a great yacht but not as good as my dads Atlantica 78 with regards to fuel economy and luxury the atlantica is a whole lot better we just got back to the uk last week from a cruise stopping of at montecarlo portugal and spain.my dad is a great boat pilot and it was a really relaxing holiday my girlfriend left me because we wouldnt take her with us on the cruise and now shes left me how bad is that.but daddy says there are plenty more fish in the sea.our next voyage with take us to usa.

I envy the lucky guys who can have this very lucky I was 18 and was on a really BIG ship but smelled like carburator had more firepower than most countries combined and I flew aroudn on 20 million dollar helicopters SH-3 Seaking as Search and Rescue man in US NAVY on board the USS Carl VIncent. It was big and well not very luxurious..if anybody knows any hot chicks who need mech with big Yatch I'm available.

@LoveTheCity123 i'm not a millionaire...but i am a naval architect student. i thought id let you know that they do not make a mega-yacht that has two swimming pools for 12,000,000 dollars. for 12,000,000 dollars you wouldn't even have room for a swimming pool. an example of a yacht with two swimming pools would be Eclipse. but that is a little bit more at about 1.2 BILLION dollars. a 12 million dollar yacht is still amazing but it wont get you what you are describing.

They are pretty nifty when they actually worked properly, but I knew they would be problematic in the field. (got in trouble for playing w/spotlight @ the bridge, pierside) How about the rear salon 'Star Trek' doors? (swoosh)

You start pulling white panels off for maintainence, you're gonna find my name written on the back of them. I was proud to build those ships. :)

@goofyleo3 haha cool, yeah the 'star treck' doors were pretty cool but not as cool as the unfolding stairs to get to the sun deck, now that's awesome! the way they meet in the middle too, also loved the garage on the aft deck. Did you build them in the UK factory? i saw the new HUGE one about a year ago on a sea trial in the Solent, i thought it was a mine ship because of the black domes haha

@timolean Those folding sundeck stairs were named with a weird translation of "stairway to heaven". The bimini sun shade that unfolded out of the rear arch was cool, too. These 120's were all built in their Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin facility.

We built these as light as we could for speed (30kts), but then loaded them full of marble, polished granite and the like. Beautiful ships, but the interior color scheme the owners picked in this one was HIDEOUS (imo). Orange, brown..gold? Yuck!

Everyone uses Fiberglass? But aluminum on that scale is a rare art. As a kid growing up 70's-early 80's I spent most of my summers on my parents yachts that were kept at the Sturgeon Bay yacht harbor. I still have many memories of the one off custom built yachts that made Palmer Johnson's a world class builder. My parents through the years have been friends with some of the upper level personal at P.J's so we have had the opportunity to see these up close. They are a true work of art.
