"Only" 23 miles. The old Nurburgring was only 17.563 miles long and that was the longest F1 circuit of all time. The current Le Mans 24 Hour circuit is just under 8.482 miles. It is almost impossible to imagine a racetrack that's only three miles under both of these colossal circuits combined. Also consider the reliability. The drop-out rate in the London to Brighton Rally is high and those cars are on good roads and aren't being pushed to the absolute limit. Yet these cars and drivers finished.
