Is it not against the laws of SIngapore to feed monkeys? Yes it is! You can be fined up to $50,000 and serve 6 months in jail. Why is that law there? To prevent monkeys from depending on humans for food and thereby moving out of their natural habitat and into your neighborhoods where they cause a nuisance and can also do severe harm to people (especially small children). Do you get it?

Once they've learn people carry food, and they'll keep coming back to snatch food from you or other passerbys, and if u try to defend yourself, they'll attack you in retaliation. they can become very bold even if in the presence of a group of humans, and they usually travel in groups...
