Combat, you are the most informative and educational player in the game. I learn so much from each of your videos, and I love how it's not even formal. It's such a shame that your name has become kind of a taboo in the Starcraft community, because people would get so much better if they watched your videos. Thanks and please make more vids! I always check if you posted a new video when I get home from work and watching them is the first thing I do.

@ichairmanmao People dont like him for several reason: Constantly cheesing and asking his opponent to give him a free win if he failed the cheese, stream sniping and cheating against lot of pro player, constantly insulting any of his opponent and he always act like he is the only good player at this game when he never won anything and the only time he went to a tournament, he cheated. Yes he can be really informative, but people like day9 give you more information and are enjoyable.

@jejeroyetompson I'm well aware of why the Starcraft community views CombatEx the way they do. It'd still be better for the community if everyone looked past Combat's faults and took his videos for what they are. (insightful as fuck)
By the way, several faults in your post: 1. To say he's "constantly cheesing" is a blatant lie. 2. In those games where he asked for a free win, he was joking, as he knew the opponents very well. CombatEx has explained this many times.

@jejeroyetompson It's quite clear that you don't know what you're talking about. Combat has many friends, CatZ being one of them, who he has infamously begged wins from (jokingly). He has also begged wins from Idra to mock him. CombatEx plays several thousand games a season, 1 win is not something he lusts for. Consider that before you make assumptions based on what you've read from ignorant Redditors or TL members.

@jejeroyetompson (cont.) 3. If you've watched any of his videos, you'd know why chats the way he does, and he explains it in a logical manner. Reading his chats and deciphering them as the result of a hateful person is just narrow-minded. 4. CombatEx has been to much more than one tournament, and no he was not banned from the one specific tournament you mentioned for stream cheating (which is impossible as it was on a 10 minute delay), he was banned for BM.

@ichairmanmao I was not talking about stream cheating. He said in one of his video that he was caught cheating in a tournament by going behing is opponent to shake is hand before the game was done. You see your opponent screen before the game is over = cheating. He called it BMing, but it's cheating

@jejeroyetompson If you honestly think that that gave him any sort of advantage in the game, then there is no hope for you. 1A'ing and declaring a game to be over before the opponent does is a form of BM, not a way to get a step ahead.

@jejeroyetompson (cont.2) 5. Whether or not CombatEx is enjoyable is completely up to opinion. However, I will state the fact that Day9 indubitably does not give you more information. If you took a bullet list of information given from a 10-minute CombatEx video and compared it to a bullet list of information given from a 10-minute Day9 video, I assure you that CombatEx's list will be twice as long.
