  • Intro reminds me of Trout Mask Replica :)

  • Hard to believe this is the same cat that made "The Word Girl" and "Road To No Regret". But that just shows how much range Green has.

  • "4-A Sides" is one of the "essentials" in every good 12" collection: the music & artwork are fine examples of marxist indie-pop

  • This and "Hegemony" = best early Scrits

  • i love this song i didnt know know that they was out this early.

  • Green realized around 1981 that he wanted to explore pop. Fair enough, but perhaps he failed to realize that he'd already made pop and Doubt Beat is a great example of that. Sure, messy, edgy and nervous instead of sugary sweet, but .these are really wonderful songs.

  • @klasensjo In May 82 he said ""I rejected the principles of that, what was monolithical Marxism. I no longer supported the mechanism which held that up, and carried over to the music. Plus I was bored sh*tless with the noise we were making." "

  • I loved early Scritti

Could you download "P.A's", the best track on 4 A Sides in my opinion.
