I tried installing an MSD 8239 on a 99 Outback. I could not get it to work due to it being transistorized or something. I have the harness for it both brand new, $60.00 shipped.
any chance you can make a video on how you made the wires work on the coil?

These coil packs have a higher output voltage, which allows you to run slightly more spark plug gap over the OEM coil pack.

@tedqb360 Your coil pack has a built-in igniter. These coil packs only work with external igniters.

Smooth idle and acceleration. It got rid of my idle dips, jerking at part throttle, and misfiring at WOT.
