  • magicians are your thing huh? :D

  • A caster is me!

  • Added the Digimon theme to your soundtrack? lmao

    That kid got rocked also.

  • Digimon theme = best theme in world.

  • As I suspected, the battleground does a big deal when Kefka is on it. This time, Tidus/Haruhiist didn't stand a chance.

Also, it was a friggin' Crowning Moment of Awesome when Forsaken Null hit in perfect synchronization to the beat of the music.

  • Heh, the map is everything when it comes to a caster, IMO, but Pandemonium did also allow for mindgames. Unfortunately, Tidus is just as much airbased as Kefka, rendering my only superiority moot in the previous round.

This round.. however... We lol'd when the music synced perfectly.

  • Yea... I guess, in that regard, Melee characters are more versatile than Casters, as they're fairly good on all arenas. However, if they fight a Caster on an arena where the Caster has the enviromental advantage, they're in for a whoopin'... Of course, it also comes down to the skill of the players.

  • Melee characters aren't more versatile per se, they also get screwed over by brv voids in the ceiling or by random walls if their attack animation commands too much movement. Sucks to be them at that point of time ):

  • True, but their attacks are still only inhibited by range (something most of them have some kind of counter against anyway) and not walls and other pieces of the enviroment... A Caster could, arguably, use the walls and enviroment to his/her advantage if the Caster's attack were non-linear... I guess it sorta evens out in the end, but I'd still say a Caster has a bigger advantage on stages with open spaces.

  • Heh, definitely. Casters are the more strategic bunch in the game, they require map knowledge, instinct and timing for effective use, whereas the same kind of strategy can be employed in a foolproof manner for melee.. Hmm..

  • Making use of both brawn and brains, yet in different ways, for both styles, huh? ... I had no idea that the folks over at Sqeenix were that good at making fighting games.

  • at 2:08, the attack hit went with the music beat. Beast!

    dfd

  • Omg! I'm not the only one who noticed that!

    I feel so awesome.

  • I lol'd so hard at how desperately he was trying to dodge Forksaken Null :P

  • Hehe, having Omni Air Dash does put you at a disadvantage when it comes to running from devastatingly homing HP attacks.
