  • Ron Paul ALSO made this and still as Congressman makse this an issue of urgency. Bring them home is a rally cry there!

  • If one day, the Islamic world is also equipped with weapons like those that Israel possesses now, then the imperialists' strategy will reach a standstill because the use of even one nuclear bomb inside Israel will destroy everything. However, it will only harm the Islamic world. It is not irrational to contemplate such an eventuality. Modern DNA studies on the Y chromosome of Jews worldwide have largely disproven the Khazar origin theory for the majority of Jews, including the Ashkenazi.

  • Khazar theory Despite recent genetic evidence to the contrary,[19] and a lack of any real mainstream scholarly support, this belief is still popular among groups such as the Christian Identity Movement, Black Hebrews, British Israelitists and others (particularly Arabs[20][21][22]) who claim that they, rather than Jews, are the true descendants of the Israelites, or who seek to usurp the connection between Ashkenazi Jews and Israel in favor of their own

  • you are great man, keep the good job.

  • cool.

  • MIKE GRAVEL FOR PRESIDENT!

    GRAVEL 08!

  • Czechs, Slovaks, Poles and Persians should get themselves a common missile shield. Fast.

  • Nader is NOT the only national leader speaking out against this illegal atrocity.

DR. RON PAUL, Republican presidential candidate continually says this abomination must end!! Not only is it illegal, he states over and over, but We Cannot Afford It! The U.S. is going broke because of it.

Ron Paul is the ONLY presidential candidate who advocates ending this illegal war NOW !!

  • tquigly, the video refers to Young's assessment which is made in 2004. That is the time period that is being referred to. Nader is saying even today that the war is illegal and to end it now. Please don't post untruths no matter how much you like Ron Paul.

  • And after the primaries, people who want to end the illegal war immediately should vote for Nader.

  • Mike Gravel also advocate ending the war in Iraq immediately. Mike Gravel is currently running as a Libertarian candidate for president.

  • you sound a lot like Aaron Russo.

  • please see my video "I am NOT Aaron Russo AND Russo died on August 24, 2007"

  • You're doing great work here! I'm with you on better organization, we need that. I hope this movie is catching on! There is good info in a Bill Moyer's interview with Phil Donohue on Bill Moyer's link at PBS.

This is a truthful, no nonsense film and every American should see it. The proceeds are going to a great cause. Our country is being railroaded and The People need to SEE!

Get US out of Iraq and don't buy the lies about Iran! My nephew is in Iraq and we are NOT getting the real story!

  • does donahue plan on using any of the money he makes for an anti-war campaign?

  • He isn't making any profit from the movie. Tomas Young has already directed money to IVAW.

  • awesome, thats what i like to hear. thank you too, representativepress for you videos. you are the voice of many

  • Lol there's a John Mccain ad on this page.

  • U are right about having a grassroots movement to get info out.

Also,no one knows about this secretive SOFA (status of forces agreement)in the works.I became privy to it frm a local congressman there's an article frm UPI website dated April 9th & titled "Draft U.S.Iraq SOFA open-ended".I was wondering if Rep-press could create a video on how the administration is trying 2 go ahead without consent frm legislative branch AND making it impossible for the incoming PREZ 2undo any commitments made.

  • damnit, its showing today and i cant go.

  • why does youtube promote other political videos and not yours? Yours are much more informative and not loaded with trivial drama.

never mind, just answered my own question.

  • I have asked YouTube to feature some of my more important videos but they have not. As far as I know, they have only ever featured one of my videos: "Was Tigger Getting Screwed With by Father and Son?"

Could you ask the editor AT YouTube Dot Com to feature THIS video? (this is the one that helps in more ways than one) And anyone else, please feel free to request that this video be featured.

  • Sure, I will give it a shot. Maybe it would help if users request for channels similar to yours to be featured more often too. There are so many important videos that remain beneath the rubbish.

  • Representative press.

I am not sure who to vote for, Obama, Hillary or McCain. McCAIN want 100yr occupation. It's not a distortion, it's a fact. He said it. compared it to South Korea and Germany.

Obama opposed the war in the beginning but falls short of describing the war as illegal. That shortfall coupled with the fact that he still funds it makes him untrustworthy.

Hillary,my God,the less I say about the woman, the better. She might even attack Bosnia in retaliation.

    WHO DO I VOTE FOR?

  • in the general election or the primaries?

in th general it looks like Nader is the clear choice. We have to tell everyone how bad the those others you mentioned are.

  • representativepress at the risk of being flamed, Ralph Nader will not win, and throw in the inevitable GOP cheating in the mix, then he may end up being a spoiler to get McBush in for a third term, again. Surely, you see that McCain is far worse than Obama and Clinton combined, and I didn't mean to call you "Shirley". ;-)

  • McCain and Obama and Hilary SHOULD NOT win since they violate the integrity of the US Constitution. This election we have YouTube and there is no reason to allow an Obama to shove horrible policies down our throats. Remember Clinton was HORRIBLE and his shit lead directly to 9/11. McCain and Obama practically guarantee another 9/11.

  • Clearly, representative press is supporting Nader now, but please know that there are a couple of other choices out there. I'm supporting Mike Gravel. He is for ending the war in Iraq immediately, he doesn't support attacking Iran or anyone else. He's for universal single payer healthcare and abolishment of the IRS in favor of a Fair Tax replacement. He's now running as a Libertarian candidate after the Dems sold out. gravel2008 dot us.

  • debbie: Gravel is an interesting candidate, but you should know that some people will not accept the fair tax. My deal with people is simple, I will be glad to take seriously the Fair Tax, as long as we first fix the existing tax code. Any attempt to circumvent the responsibility of the American people to get control of their gov't I'm completely against.

  • I don't get that. Why bother fixing the tax code, which is arcane, expensive to manage and costs us tons in overhead, etc. when we can have a simple fair sales tax that EVERYONE must pay (no loopholes). And, I don't understand your last statement about circumventing the responsibility of the American people to get control of their govt. Are you saying the National Initiative is doing that? b/c it is doing the opposite... It's giving back control to the people.

  • debbie: You are vastly underestimating the capabilities of people to circumvent paying a sales tax, there are a million ways to get around it. It is also horribly regressive. It is irresponsible to avoid fixing the tax code that we now have in place. We must implement a progressive tax system based on income, and get rid of all other taxes.

  • The Fair Tax that Gravel proposes includes a prebate, which makes it progressive. Everyone is eligible for it, but those who are wealthy probably wouldn't bother. How can you avoid a sales tax when you purchase things at a store? There would be no exemptions. Can you please elaborate on this point?

  • (pt 2) Besides, there are so many ways people skirt taxes right now. I think our CURRENT system is regressive. Not to mention things like the social security tax cap. Please elaborate on why using a prebate wouldn't resolve these issues?

  • debbie: But you're hitting directly on my hot button - I want to directly address the ways people skirt taxes. I want to increase the ss tax cap, but I dont' think that is actually the answer. I believe the tax code is as good as any a way to simply say, "if you can't fix this rather simple problem, there is no future for the country." The gov't is owned by the corporate sector and the monied interests - that's the problem and it must be directly addressed.

  • You should really read Citizen Power. Gravel explains this all rather well in the book. Taxing corporations doesn't work in the first place. They pass on these costs to the consumer. Having a sales tax treats everyone fairly. The IRS is a HUGE overhead, not to mention the annual cost to taxpayers to actually DO their taxes.

  • "Taxing corporations doesn't work in the first place. They pass on these costs to the consumer."

NOT true at all! besides, it's double taxation

"Having a sales tax treats everyone fairly."

Nonsense! it's a very regressive tax! poorer people spend a much higher percentage of income just to survive than do the rich

A flat tax across the board for everyone is what should be.

  • It is progressive when there is a prebate given to everyone. Everyone's basic needs will be covered.

  • genie: You appear to be making her argument for her on the corporate tax thing. If I'm right we all agree on stopping corporate taxes. A flat tax is not the most fair tax. The most fair tax would be for every person to pay THE SAME AMOUNT OF TAX. Unfortunately for that plan, sociopaths have not yet been able to take over the government completely. A progressive system allows for people with more money to pay a greater percentage of their income. Most folks see the wisdom in this approach.

  • The sales tax would require MUCH less overhead, the government wouldn't be collecting information on how much people earn and would not need this information to process the prebates. I see the advantage of such a system. Any income driven tax is going to require more overhead than a sales tax.

  • debbie: I simply don't believe that the gov't would not know all the same things about individuals in such a system. That is, in order for a proper prebate to be handled, the gov't has to know what are your earnings. I believe the tracking of goods and services would add bazillions to the overall cost of such a system. I can't see how it wouldn't be far more regressive.

  • That isn't how he is proposing to implement the program. I'm not quoting this verbatim, but it's something to the effect that they would come up with a figure that equates to poverty level, determine how much a family of 2, 4, etc. would pay for basic necessities and then when you apply, you receive a prebate based on the size of your family. All people are eligible for the same amount regardless of income. This would give the working poor a basis to get their necessities paid.

  • debbie: Yeah, but according to my calculations, you're gonna have to have a pretty high tax rate in order to get the revenue you need. So then you would need to use a higher poverty number so you wouldn't screw people who make 30K (who spend all their income). How handle married? How handle investment - do you do a sales tax on stock purchases - or what?? If the thing gets complicated, aren't we right back where we started??

  • debbie: Totally agree on the not taxing corporations thing. Okay, my main problem with the Gravel plan is simply that the guy doesn't have the political horsepower to get it done, no matter how wonderful it is. We gotta know what battles to fight. I totally agree that some of tax prep on both sides is wasteful.

  • debbie: Um, I'm not sure you are aware of what has been going on for the last few years, lol - we've got bazillions of people buying stuff on the web, and it gets shipped from all over. We've got people smuggling in vast quantities of drugs and humans. The opportunities for black market going-on, smuggling, private transactions, offshore transfers, etc., are vast. The rich know how to play this game.

  • And fixing the current tax system would somehow correct this? The internet taxes you speak of are state taxes. If there was a federal tax, it would be applied regardless of where you lived or where in the US the co. operated from. Private transactions are purposely excluded from the Fair Tax. Gravel has written about this specifically in Citizen Power.

  • debbie: Fixing the current tax system would demonstrate a willingness to deal with current problems as they regard the control of the gov't by monied interests. If private transactions are excluded, then people will gravitate to such schemes as a way to avoid taxes on, e.g., expensive jewelry items.

  • The intention is to not tax items that are being sold second hand to encourage less consumerism and less waste of resources. It takes resources to make new products. If you can avoid taxes by buying used, this should encourage a market there. As far as private transactions go, I'm not sure exactly what you mean there. It sounds like you're talking black market, which is hard to crack down on in the first place and I'm sure already exists.

  • DebbieKat, the tax plan was not one of the things that liked about Gravel. Reform the tax code instead and make sure the taxes are spent on things that are in the interests of the American people. I see a lot of potential problems with Gravel's proposed system, although he talks about rebates, I think that is not the position you want to put everyone at the mercy of. I like other things, not the tax thing which was a weird set of priorities and Congress I thought would nix.

  • Gravel talks about this in his book Citizen Power. He used to be on the committee handling taxation. When he brought up to the chair that the tax code was too complex and corrupt, he was told that they couldn't change it b/c how would they "help their friends" otherwise. Our current system cannot be fixed. It is FAR too easy for people to avoid paying taxes, it is a burden to employers, it requires huge amounts of overhead and there is the time and effort (and money) to get your taxes completed.

  • debbie: But but but your statement that our current system cannot be fixed is precisely what I'm talking about. We the people simply must take our gov't back. This is the huge over-riding need that affects every other aspect of just about all issues that are of current grave importance, IMO.

  • debbie: I like the used stuff angle, that's cool. But as for private transactions, I'm still back at thinking you might be naive about how far rich folks will go to get stuff without paying taxes. Yes, black and gray markets are precisely what I'm talking about, especially in things like jewelry, clothing, wines, small electronics, possibly services of various kinds, and so forth. But I'm not ruling your idea out.

  • Unless the purchase is for a really significant amount, I wouldn't think most wealthy people would waste their time doing this. You really think the tax would be THAT worth it to them to make the effort? And, even if some did this, not all would. I'm sure there's already a black market for these types of items.

  • debbie: Wealthy people go to enormous lengths to avoid paying taxes, to some extent because they believe the gov't is unfairly taking their money. If such a tax system is a fair system, then wealthy people will need to pay a significant tax on something like a $20,000 necklace (not a very expensive item in their world). Perhaps they will have their housekeeper purchase the item (at a low tax rate) and then buy the item directly from her without paying any tax on the item.

  • But it wouldn't work that way. Everyone would pay the same rate of tax on sales. This scenario would never occur under the Gravel plan.

The key to your statement is "they believe the govt is unfairly taking their money". I can see that as more likely with an income tax than with a sales tax. Why would they think a sales tax was unfair? They are buying the item. Anyone would have to pay the same tax on said item regardless of who they were or what their income was.

  • debbie: Let me put it to you this way. If the tax is fair to people making 35K per year, then people making 300K will consider it unfair to them. You simply don't get the whole resentment of the rich toward taxes. If they can't see a way to get an unfair advantage, they will simply not allow the measure to pass, or will find a way to cheat on it if it passes. How will investments be handled?

  • I don't know that investments were specifically mentioned in his proposal. But, either way, the real crux of Gravel's platform is the National Initiative. If the people don't want a Fair Tax, then it won't happen in the first place, but if the people DO vote for one, then that's where we would go. And, why is it that only the wealthy's position on taxes matter? You DO know that, as a group, the top 2% pay next to nothing compared to the lower and middle class? The rest of us don't resent taxes?

  • Not to mention that the current system rewards those who are the "idle rich" by charging them a lower tax rate on investment income than what the average working individual is charged against their wages. That's fair?

  • debbie: But that's why I asked about how investments would be handled. You're relying on the fact that people like to buy things, but some wealthy folks have huge investment and lots of wealth, but don't really buy much. Their house was inherited. They are constantly asked to dinner or may eat at the corporate dining room. Tax revenue on their income and investments will be lost. I just don't know how a sales tax type deal could handle that.

  • debbie: The wealthy's position matters because you want a tax that is high enough at the top end but doesn't penalize the middle too much. And the wealthy are the ones who will cheat the system. But apart from that, I'm totally against the national initiative because it's not a representative democracy type of deal. It's a basic change in the way the U.S. is run.

  • debbie: The wealthy's position matters because you want a tax that is high enough at the top end but doesn't penalize the middle too much. And the wealthy are the ones who will cheat the system. But apart from that, I'm totally against the national initiative because it's not a representative democracy type of deal. It's a basic change in the way the U.S. is run.

  • And what's so great about representative democracy? Is it working for you right now? Because I can't see how my representative really represents me these days.

  • debbie: I completely agree with your point, so I'm for fixing the problems with representative democracy so it is really representative democracy. The problem is the ascendancy of the corporation esp. the multi-nationals and their influence over the gov't.

  • But, again, this is the point of the NI4D. Do you really think that government is going to be fixed to our liking from within? Our representatives LIKE it this way. And so do the corporations. They have no incentive to fix it because they benefit greatly from it. This can ONLY be fixed by giving the people power to make laws. Gravel is 100% spot on with this.

  • debbie: We can't fix the country by running away from the problems. They need to be directly addressed and that can be accomplished over the internet given time. A 3rd party challenge has been mounted before. All that has to happen is more of the same economic mess with people struggline along, many people not really participating in any meaningful way in the economy. People are getting very very fix of the way things are going. Their patience is limited.

  • How is the NI4D running away from problems? It allows the people to participate in their government and get more power. Representative government isn't working and hasn't worked in at least 30 years. I can't comment on anything before that from personal experience. It's broken. Waiting for people to get frustrated enough to vote 3rd party is like pissing in the wind. We need the NI4D. Again, the govt in its current form will NOT fix itself and w/o being directly involved all we have is rep govt

  • debbie: California has tried some direct initiative type stuff and it didn't work out too well. The form of government we have now has been shown to get the best results, so we can't give up on it just because we're suffering from a distortion of it. If the people begin to catch on, they'll fix it. It can and will be fixed by a more informed public, whether by a 3rd party or putting pressure on reps of the two existing parties.

  • Well, I respectfully disagree with you. The current two parties have things pretty well locked up. It's next to impossible for 3rd parties to get on the ballot in the first place let alone get media coverage to get their message out. The only candidates you will hear from will be status quo. Until WE can fix our media (as per RPs other video) we will continue to get crap govt. I agree with Gravel that only the NI4D can fix this. Govt cannot be fixed from within.

  • debbie: The only thing I gotta keep pointing out is that your use of the phrase "cannot be fixed from within" is, I believe, misleading. Despite all the claptrap in the media, if the people do not vote for candidate A, candidate will be replaced by candidate B. ABC received a lot of angry feedback from their ridiculous debate presentation the other night. My point is, people in fact do want some straight info and are willing to vote for what they believe to be the best candidate.

  • debbie: (2) The real problem is getting folks good info from credible sources that are not in the pockets of the corporate interests - that's where the 'net comes in. In some ways, you may see yourself as a realist and me as naive. Maybe you're right, but I believe the 'net offers a new way to communicate and to build alliances for change, while sticking to the original plan for American gov't. I'm still hopeful.

  • I think the internet is an excellent source of information, but I can guarantee that the people posting on videos that are political in nature are a small subset of the population. MOST people still get their information from TV, newspapers, their friends and neighbors who are also ill-informed. Just look at the early dem debates. They gave Kucinich and Gravel a whole 5 minutes to talk each in 2 hours while giving Obama and Clinton about 15 minutes each to talk. Our media wants the public...

  • pt2-to select the candidates that favors the MIC. Look how quickly Kucinich and Gravel were shut up and excluded from debates soon thereafter. There has been a media blackout essentially on Kucinich, Ron Paul, Mike Gravel. All of these are better than the 3 status quo candidates we are now left with. And god forbid they even discuss third parties, like Cynthia McKinney, Ralph Nader, etc. What you don't seem to get is that the best candidates will be blacklisted by the MIC. We will never even...

  • pt3-get the opportunity to VOTE for them. Most of the public will never learn their names. We are left with the corporate shills who want to keep things as they are. This is why it can't be fixed from within. The MIC and our current govt are in lock-step to keep things the same. Kucinich is like a thorn in their side b/c he does what is right for the people when few others do. Then there's the questionable voting machines... There's just NO WAY it is going to get fixed with our system right now.

  • debbie: Yes, I completely agree, but that was simply because those were the people who had the most support going into those debates. The problem is as RP says that we don't really have any objective news outlets, i.e., a sort of computerized debate system where each candidate would get equal time. It's clear the MSM is interested in focus focus focus, keep it simple, mano a mano, etc. They're basically horrible.

  • Ah, but WHY did those candidates have the most support going into the debates? Clinton is entrenched in politics for years and received LOTS of $ from big corporations. Obama, while receiving a lot of grassroots support STILL received plenty from wall street and other large corps. Who had more experience in government, out of all the candidates running on the Dem ticket? ANYone else up there out of the 8 candidates. Biden, Dodd, Gravel, Kucinich, Richardson, Edwards(maybe a bit weaker).

  • pt2-So the 3 WEAKEST candidates are the ones that the media chose to give all the attention to? Maybe b/c the MIC could use them the most easily? You know they couldn't get anything out of Kucinich or Gravel. Both have too much integrity to be taken in by the MIC. Those two are also the only ones not entwined with the CFR... The rest are TOOLS of the Bilderbergers... So, I'm sticking with my story. Our government will continue to be broken until WE can fix things, not give our power to others.

  • debbie: Well, I'll say you've definitely got stamina, lol! I'm perfectly happy with the CFR and other thinktank-ish groups, because I believe that, if there is a sort of conspiracy, it can happen anywhere, in any setting. On the other hand, your point about the MIC is well taken. The problem is, any sort of downplaying on defense creates fear in citizens that can be appealed to. No system can defeat all of that.

  • debbie: But you simply can't blame the lesser interest of the public on the media. Biden and Dodd got some attention, but not enough of it. Richardson attracted some interest, but people just didn't get excited. In the end, Obama attracted attention because of his hopeful message. You're never ever going to get away from the importance of image and oratory in elected officials. You only get corporate support if you play well to the folks.

  • Yes, I agree that Obama is a great speaker and it is sad that this is all it takes for people to attach to a candidate. Most are not even aware of any of the candidates stand on issues. They don't seem to be aware that there is negligible difference between Hillary and Obama wrt issues. However, it's difficult for people to get attracted to the other candidates' oratory skills when they are given far less time during debates to get their messages across. From the start the media showed its bias.

  • debbie: As to "from the start," I totally agree, but then again, there were the beginnings of a shake-out already going on. Yes, the media is motivated to dumb down and make things simple for its watchers. The way campaigns are conducted must be fixed, and I contend it can only be fixed by an informed electorate insisting that rules governing campaigns be changed.

  • debbie (2): But again, I think we differ in some basic way about the problems we have in America. I believe they are solvable using the mechanisms we have in place. I'm going to continue to believe that despite the apparent uphill battle that presents itself. Changing approaches to gov't resides in voters' hands each time they go into a voting booth.

  • So let me ask you this. Here in WA state we favor changing how we elect people by selecting a different method other than popular vote. We used to have a blanket primary until that was ruled unconstitutional for some reason but it's been in and out of court. Now, at the regional level, counties are beginning to move to Instant Runoff Voting, which apparently has another acronym as well. Would this get passed in states where initiatives don't exist? Would the two parties initiate this themselves?

  • debbie: I am not at all familiar with any of the issues that you're talking about. But, I think there are always going to be situations in which a initiative type of vote will be appropriate, e.g., bond issues or perhaps some special issue that governs the manner in which someone is elected. I just don't know the details, but I wouldn't rule it out at all.

  • @nicholas9999-so why is this method only acceptable to you at the state level? Why shouldn't the people be able to create initiatives at the national level? why should we only have a say in local government?

  • Dear missrepresentativepress,

In the end of this video you omitt the fact that Ron Paul also calls for the troop withdrawal. You also omitt Dennis Kuccinich and Mike Gravel. They are just as much "national leaders" as Ralph Nader is. Once again you are pushing some sort of agenda, like when you were pushing for everyone to vote for Mike Gravel.

Dont turn into the MSM please, get your facts straight.

  • I am reading the Body of War press kit and it says "TO TOMAS, Ralph Nader was the only national leader ..."

It is Tomas's opinion about that and that was in 2004.

  • Ok that is understandable, however still you should have noted that he is not the only one that supports a instant troop withdrawal. Because that is how it started, the manipulation of the media. First they said "Oh lets not add mention this and that" and used whatever reasons/excuses. Then you start editing things out without noticing that you are editing out things that you (and making it biased) dont think is as important as the the rest. Then you start choosing what to report. See my point?

  • My point is not to trash you or anything. I like your reporting and you do a great job on getting the truth out. However we must be vigilant and from time to time (before damage is done) step back and reflect on what we are doing. Thus prevent ourselves to falling in the pithole the MSM is in. I hope you see this as contructive criticism and not senseless ranting. Keep up the good work!

  • I didn't see georgia on the theater listing. :(

  • Scotland Yard is working an indictment upon Tony Blair for Genocide & crimes against humanity

  • "Scotland Yard is working an indictment upon Tony Blair for Genocide & crimes against humanity"

Bravo! *applauds* Can't wait to hear the same news about Bush(es) and many in Congress.

  • that would be amazing

the thing is, the people BEHIND Tony Blair won't get charged, he goes down on their behalf

HOWEVER this might make others thinking again before following in his shoes

  • Shultz - I wouldn't hold your breath on the Americans to wake up

The democrats have owned Senate and House - They could stop Iraq by electing to stop paying for the war; and could indict Bush-Cheney

But they don't because they are part of the AIPAC crowd; and the recipients to legal corporate bribery

  • In that case the only solution is Mike Gravel's National Initiative. I'm currently reading "Citizen Power" by Mike Gravel. It's very inspirational and enlightening. The American People HAVE to do SOMETHING! This Whatever-Industrial-Complex is out of control. Power must be returned to the people, one way or another.

  • Shultz - I think the phrase, "American Revolution" is an oxy-moron!

I'm with billionaire Jim Rogers - Headin' offshore for better venue

Don't have the time to wait for hell to freeze over

  • it's good having these movies to keep us informed Rep Press, but aren't they essentially preachign to the choir? what can we do to actually effect a change? Most people are anti-war and against what the gevernmnet does but they just keep on doing it, no one stops them

  • RevolutionaryJam, I post links to these vidoes all over the place, NOT just to the choir. that is why it is important for my viewers to vote 5 stars, I put these vidoes in front of so many peiple who are hostile to the message and low vote it that I need the "choir" to help. Beleive me, this is a way to get a toe hold in the public dialog. Most people are not being exposed to the specific facts I am bringing up. The longer range foal is of cource a Representative Media

  • cool man thanks for working so hard,

how do you get this out there?

when I said ""movies to watch" I didn't mean -this video- I mean videos like Body Of War, just to be clear :)

  • I spend several hours posting links to my videos on blogs and Internet forums. I put in a lot of work jsut to get the viewers I do. I wish YouTube would throw me a bone and at least feature one of my political videos, I see they feature and promote other things. I should set up an action forum on my mailing list page to encourage others to do what I am doing to promote this video.

  • i don't know who is behind what videos get featured but i thought a lot of your videos we important and would post them in myspace comments etc. such as ones on Iran etc.

Perhaps you are too "radical" for the admins

yes, thats right, it's come to the point when exposing the truth is seen as "radical"

  • RevolutionaryJam, that is the way it is looking.

  • maybe you can ask the editor AT youtube DOT com to feature this video? THIS is the one to ask about since it has a multiplying effect. Anyone reading this, please feel free to as YouTube about featuring this one.

I notice that YouTube has given a huge lift to other political videos that didn't have a multiplying effect.

  • Why not put on youtube ?

I guess that over 70,000 would watch

  • Donahue is one of the few journalist celebrities that hasn't betrayed us.

  • I go to Tivoli in STL at least once a month and i'll see this movie as soon as it comes here. Thanks for the tip.

  • Another excellent youtube RepresentativePress

    NEOCONZIONISTTHREAT[dot]BLOGSPOT[dot]COM

    NOMOREWARFORISRAEL[dot]BLOGSPOT[dot]COM

  • hey, you post on Crooksandliars too! Awesome! I'll get the word out about Body of War!

  • All the vets at the VFW in Salina and Hayes now know about this. Good job.

    Overcoming Zionism: Great book!

  • I am not "Anti-War" I'm pro peace. Inject that into to your dome.

  • Rle8752, the war being discussed is the Iraq war, not the entire concept of war which includes self defense. AS Donahue says "anti IRAQ war" And TOMAS'S message is against the IRAQ war. I don't know hwy you posted what you did.

  • Rle8752... I'm with you. We should all be FOR peace NOT AGAINST war.

When Mother Teresa was asked to walk in a march against the Vietnam War she responded by saying "I will not march against anything, when you have a march for peace let me know."

  • nice video man, keep going

  • Please ask YouTube to feature this video.

  • genie0390, who is supposedly the "enemy"? Bush attacked a country that had not attacked nor had threatened to attack the US.

And WMD were around during ht e WWII era, it still was not an excuse for wars of aggression.

It is off the wall to declare that you have a right to attack countries just because you say you think some country "will first".

  • "It is off the wall to declare that you have a right to attack countries just because you say you think some country "will first"."

..as if the North Koreans and North Vietnam attacked the US directly

RP, you're not thinking clearly and Donahue just can not think at all!

the above mentioed 2 wars were really pre-emptive wars to stop communist expansion to a point wherein the Soviets would have become strong enough to take us on directly.

  • Everything about this war is wrong. From the reasons we went into it to how it was declared (technically only congress can declare war and that didn't exactly happen, they handed over their power to King George) to how it is conducted. EVERYTHING here is wrong. Again, Iraq was NOT a threat to us. They had nothing to do with 9/11. The one who DID is still out there and King George doesn't "care about him". Why is that?

  • DebbieKat, "They had nothing to do with 9/11. The one who DID is still out there and King George doesn't "care about him". Why is that?"

because King George has been dead for over 200 yrs and "him" is likely hiding and being sheltered in the outlaw area of N. Pakistan. To go there, like Obama suggests, would destabilize Pakistan wherein terrorists may get hands on nuclear weapons

better plan was to take out Iraq, draw outside terrorists there, defeat them to deter recruitment by Al Qaida

  • genie: Are you not familiar with the notion of "mutual deterrence"?? That is how we conquered and brought down the USSR. The whole idea behind provoking Iran is to have another enemy (not a terrorist enemy, but a state enemy). State enemies require large and impressive machinery, and enormous investments in the military-industrial complex. Having Iran as an enemy allows us to continue the plan for the oil concessions and a strategic base in Iraq.

  • "nicholas9999","genie: Are you not familiar with the notion of "mutual deterrence"??"

i suggest you get a refund of fees for your degree! education did not work for you!

"mutual deterrence" worked with Russians because like us they feared death. the fanatic crowd running Iran, called "twelvers", actually want death and worldwide chaos to bring back the 12th Imam to establish Islam throughout the entire planet. death does not deter suicidal morons! get a brain!

  • April 11 it comes to Boston...but I have friggin Finals...v.V MAN...;__;

  • Looks like the Ron Kovic of the Iraq War. How many Vietnam parallels can there be? Many I fear.

  • some are even worse. I think we have many more injured today because with modern medicine they are kept alive. I wonder what the stats are.

  • lol first?

  • YES!
