I said "Goodbye" to my Mam with this song six years ago today, she loved Josh Groban and as she had this hymn played at her wedding I thought it was a very apt song to play as she was carried out of church...... still miss her so much!

Although this is my favorite version of this brilliant Bach melody, I find the performance of the violinist only detracts from the music. She need not add such dramatics. She looks as though she is trying to accomplish a yoga workout as she plays.

All that is needed here is the voice and the arrangement/orchestration to produce perfection.
