@ustink0815 Cause they're intelligent people maybe? Their music is a statement. Although i'm not a huge fan of the guitar work, the drumming and vocals are great. Travis' vocals are incredibly difficult to pull off and he has developed a unique style. He also has a side project that makes ambient experimental music that is pretty good. It's music, who cares what they look like. But I wouldn't expect someone who says things like "a fatso on bass" to get that.
