  • E todos os dias que eu ver esse vídeo, serei obrigado a te agradecer.

  • Obrigado à você!!!!

  • Obrigado a você!!!!

  • Best singing of this song I've heard thus far.

  • Flawless singing. But you go to a beautiful natural location to film then angle the camera to include the car? Sorry I just noticed, but you really are amazing.

  • Such a beautiful voice.

  • Very nice.

  • Just a word: delicious

  • You are the Chuck Norris of singing Greensleeves.

  • Wow...how quaint... I...am dazed by both your vocal harmony...and your enlightened soul..... :) uhhh....I'm weird I know XD

  • very beautiful!

  • This is AMAZING

Lol at the beginning it's like she's on x factor or something xD - she should go on anyways

  • not only do you look like an angel but you have the voice of one as well

  • @Eloise672 theres actually tons of cities in the states and Canada that share names with cities in the UK

  • The camera person makes it kind of awkward...

  • Really good :)

  • Amazing.

  • i like the scenery you picked. great job nice voice

  • Sung with such feeling. A natural talent! You are very gifted.

  • that voice has remembered me Enya in LotR

  • WOW. That was amazing

  • good your helping me learn the song for solo fest and thank you

  • Amazing, the best rendittion of greensleeves i have heard today!

  • meravigliosa

  • theres a place in amercia called Birmingham?

  • @Eloise672 There's actually about half a dozen places in America called Birmingham, but the most well-known one is in Alabama. If you told most Americans that Ozzy Osbourne was from Birmingham they'd probably say "really? I thought he was English!"

  • your a great singer, but your amercian and tits an english song?

  • @Eloise672 so? If she can't sing Greensleeves, you can't sing Micheal Jackson, frank sinatra, etc.

  • @blacksnowhitequeen noo, dont like Micheal Jackson or any of them, stick to British singers :p also this is an English medevil song, but she has a really good voice

  • @Eloise672 I wouldn't generalize. I mean I don't know about you, but I personally LOVE Emilie Autumn, who I suggest you check out if you haven't already. There may be a lot of really great british artists, but that doesn't mean that they all are, or that there are no good american artists. And yes, she has a really great voice. And yes I know it's an English midevil song

  • wonderful job singing this song. you have an excellent voice. maybe next time use different recording equipment, or put some kind of wind shield on it. although i do like the whole outdoor thing you have going on in the video.

  • Wonderful voice but my cat dont like it. I really dont know why

  • The recording device is the only flaw in the singing.

  • Good

  • beutiful voice

  • youre a good singer.

  • very nice

  • this is amazing.your voice is perfect and your singing the original greensleeves.thank you so much,i enjoyed this greatly.

  • Loving the voice! I am currently learning to play the flute at age 11. This has been a favorite of mine since i was very very little.

  • An English maiden could easily be made out of this Southern Belle! As an Englishman I would joust anyone just for her singing. Super work!

  • Wonderful <3

  • Nem volt rossz. It was't bad.

  • You're really good, but your voice is definitely more fit for pop music, not classical. Still very nice, though.

  • I love it, beautiful to say the least. Good Job.

  • hey, this was really good for singing without music! i really liked it =]

  • bad !!!! but good for trying ....

    Sincerely Signed,

    Your Friendly Neighborhood Critic :)

  • three words, A Maz Ing! I wish i had a set of pipes like that! This is Jamester7801 sister at 10 and i sing to!

  • amazing! I wish i had a set of pipes like that. you are very brave to sing greensleeves accapella. this is jamesters7801 sister which is 10 and i sing to!

  • A maze ing. Great Job.

  • I've listened to 5 different versions of Greensleeves on youtube so far, and this was by far my favorite! Beautiful singing :)

  • It takes moxie to sing such a well-known song a capella... and you gave us such a sweet performance. I had a tough week, and you brought a spark of delight to start my weekend. THANK YOU!

  • мои аплодисменты..ничего более не могу из себя выдавить )

  • да

  • i seach greensleeves and search the pages with no end. but then i search Mellisa Gerard and here she is. beautiful, truely a undiscovered jewel of youtube.

  • When I used to feast like this, I'd have a troupe of minstrels serenade me. Those were good times.

  • Gorgeous! I wish I sounded half this great a cappella. Keep it up!

  • Pity that there is no music.... But there is such a cute girl instead of it......

  • An American Lady, who has the right feeling for English tradition ! I was always the opinion that theese people throw ice cubes into the champaign and put ketchup to the oysters. ;-) What an error...

  • only thing you're missing is the guitar...

    great voice tho

  • Amazing! keep singing, especially like you do on this song...from your soul. I know that sounds cheesy, but I'm serious!! The expression on your face was almost as wonderful to see as your voice was to hear. One comment...try it a little higher. This is a little bit personal preference, but you sounded a little bit throaty on the low notes. An overall excellent job, though.

  • If only I were a knight and you a fair maiden. You could sing to me every night.

  • @4tinman8

    moran

  • @4tinman8 would that be before or after the few hours of sex? lmao

  • @4tinman8 LOL your comment is so cheesy... but I like cheese :D

  • It was avery good song and ou have a beautiful voice.. I just think that you could doa little less vibrato, and it would sound much better! Try it that way, record it, and I lookl forward to seeing you again!

    Kisses

  • cool and intresting

  • That was really very good. Bravo!

  • Wow, I wasn't expecting much since most youtube singers are terrible, but I was very impressed. You have a beautiful voice. I think you need to work some more to perfect it, but this was the best greensleeves i've heard on youtube.

  • very good well done a great piece

    from Rachel

  • Well done, thank you.

  • Well done young lady. Now I'm going to catch a lot of hell for my next comment, but please take it for what it is worth. This was quite well done, but with some voice training, you could avoid going flat on the greensleeves part. You have a very nice voice. With formal training you could have a beautiful voice.

  • i can never find this video. its such a jewel that it sucks i can't favorite it. my friends would think im weird. i always look through 20+ pages for greensleeves, green sleeves and green sleaves but its so hard to find this vocal. Its amazing that she can sing this with absolutely no instruments and it does not seem to matter at all. i wish she would get alittle support from musical instruments. it would set her out far beyond the rest of the green sleeve singers, unlike them theres no music.

  • WOW!

    o_o

  • I shared this out on my Facebook page. You are wonderful.

  • BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!♥

  • X FACTER WINNER BEST I HAVE HERD

  • I like the fluttery :) It was great

  • I'd bang THAT!

    DAMN!

    <3 the song BTW.

  • Well Melissa I know Vanessa Carlton so I started listening to her version, MISTAKE. I happen to be working on this song with one of my guitar students and I usually end up singing as we work on the tune following the notes as they are written. But then I decided to listen to someone else sing it. Well I'm glad I listened to you ! Acappella no less !Nice job! Now go out and find yourself an accompanist, or get into a band. Most of all keep singing.

  • You did a beautiful job

  • tmi

  • its pretty difficult to hold a hand-held camera still.

  • Fire that cameraman!

  • very nice voice but the cameraman was probably drunk

  • You are indeed very talented! This is by far the best sung version I've heard, I really think you should get someone to play it on a guitar or piano and sing along, I'd buy that from you:) Excellent performance! Bless you!

  • you're great!

but your cameraman is shit xD

(you look yunger than 19 :D)

  • I think the cameraman is her father..Be nice..

  • Very powerful voice. If you work on some breathing exercises singing may be really your virtue.

  • GREAT!!!!! ;-)

  • verrry nice voice

  • and also, show exprerssion, like ur telling a story

  • good, work on breath support

  • nice voice u just need to hold each word just a little longer

  • very very nice ! ! and you should put a second video into the youtube net with a fixed camera without a noice from the camera man or from the background :-)

  • Nice singing, but the cameraman could've been better :P

  • youre not singing perfect, but still very very nice

  • Beautiful... And cute woman.

  • ugly from the side

  • I've cut my hair since. That, and my Dad's not the best filmmaker.

  • PintJohnBull, your proud emphasis on the "ENGLISH" origin of Greensleeves is somewhat pathetic. Though not so rude as some traditional melodies, it is nevertheless brief and composed within a narrow compass. Such melodies could have easily originated from the accordingly-tuned flute of any European shepherd, perhaps multiply-independent, and not the two sections necessarily from the same musician. I believe such prideful celebration would be more worthy of a works by Purcell, _et alia_.

  • Thus why I said "British," as opposed to "English."

  • Hey those snickers guys sing this song.

  • *sigh* this song has been around since before Shakespeare.

  • I love this song! From Gardendale

  • Wow... I live just south of you!
