I've had frog's legs. It really does taste like chicken except it's moister,more tender and doesn't have that funny aftertaste you sometimes get with chicken. Alligator,on the other hand,didn't taste much like chicken to me.

I've had it too. to me, it taste like a cross between chicken and fish. and the legs are the best part because a lot of meat there. haven't tried alligator.

I was only 7 when I had alligator creole,so maybe my palate was too unsophisticated.I should try it again.There were 4 or 5 cajun restaurants that served alligator around here,but they went out of business.I was at the farmer's market Saturday and one of the meat vendors had alligator tail.Maybe I'll buy some and cook it myself.
