thanks Colin for the comment. Both machines are good. In my opinion MC-808 have better choice of sounds but MC-909 has better interface to control sound "on the fly" I really likes both grooveboxes :)

I have still MC-505... since ten years... its old but amazing gear too !!!

I've listened to this dozens of times now, it's just awesome. My only "complaint" is that it's too short. This easily could have gone on for 10 minutes and I would have kept listening.

thanks, i dont base on this TD track, but I agree, it is little similar :) I want show only a simply groove in my favourite Tangerine Dream style.

It's a little like Edgar's Dali-Esque Sleep Fuse on Stuntman and a tad like rhythmic bits from Thief too. But either way it's just a great TD inspired cut from the Franke-Froese-Schmoelling era. Especially impressive as no one uses units like this in such a style. The guy that says this is the best MC-808 clip on YT is right.

Awesome job! TD is hard to cover or imitate considering how they piled up so many unique sounds over complex evolving compositions. One of the least covered bands out there considering how influential and inventive they were.

yeh, this is nice, just getting to grips with my new MC808, its the first piece of new gear in years -so used to the old faithfull RM1X its taking a while to get used to it! But definitly rate the sounds on the 808. Hopefully get some tracks uploaded on here soon.
