Actually, Grace Jones made the fade very popular. I'm not say she was the first one to get that cut. I agree with everything you said. I think it's sad that a black man can't express his fears and troubles. He's not a man unless he can "handle" the situation and figure out everything on his own. This attitude hinders a lot of our young blk men from having success in school and our older blk men from achieving higher goals.

Superficiality, 'acting hard' (being something that you really aren't) and not crying if and when you feel pain or hurt, really is another form of suicide! Black man, rise up and STOP this insanity!
I agree. Your shoes, clothes, and hairstyle does not make you who you really are. It's what's inside that counts. Any man, woman and person for that matter should be able to express themselves in their way. We are not confined to a "Particular" anything. Great video.
