Man Shango i agree with the large amount of issues but Rome was not built in a day. yes we need many players and also am not convinced Garrett is the man, There is the CBA looming out there. it would be wise to stick with garrett now because the offseason is uncertain, keep continuity. pick up draft picks and vets. My question is who is scouting for us. release some of these players underacheiving. listen to Garrett's plan for the team, it is not fair to judge him on a few games and no offseason

there is no leadership in the coaching staff of the Cowboys. You can't name one leader in the Cowboys organization PERIOD, staff OR players. Yall just got a lot of pretenders in Cowboy land. Garrett is smart, and I would really like to see him stay on and make decisions for the team's future in the draft.

Refs, commentators were incredibly biased. Bad calls by the refs all night ,when Dallas was on offense the criteria for pass interference changed dramatically, ( Rodgers Cromartie held Austin's arm down, would've went for a big game, wasnt called) (James' int that was challenged, was obviously an INT) but when two pick six's are added to biased refs winning becomes hard. Defense coudlnt stop that last drive, which is why they are taking heat despite playing a little better.

When Romo is finished playing at a high level, then the Cowboys' "window" is truly closed. But agree with Shango, that there are too many holes on the team to fill immediately. It's going to take 2-3 years to rebuild the o-line and add some playmakers on defense.

i believe this team is a team of set pieces but a timid chess player. They have pro bowlers, they should have a demon of a run blocking offensive lineman. Jesus Christ, Shango. Not every loss is on Garrett. We've lost games by an average of 2.3 PPG, and we're winning with an inexperienced head coach and 39 year old quarterback. I do not care who is the head coach not many could do much with this line and A second and 3rd string QB. When Romo was there he had the #2 offense. He puts up over 30 points a game since he took over. Which is either 3rd or 4th in the lead. Why don't you give him credit? He is a good offensive coordinator and just needs jj to give him an o-line! @dante61092 I think hes a good x and o guy....his very good at drawing up plays but when its crunch time like third and shorts or any other critical time hes not great at it. I dont think hes a good play caller. Ray Lewis even stated that it was an easy predictable offense. I think you could be given this talent to any oc and the league and it would be top ten easily. The talent there makes up for alot. I just the JG is what everybody thinks he is. I rather have Norv turner as a head coach.

Man Shango i agree with the large amount of issues but Rome was not built in a day. yes we need many players and also am not convinced Garrett is the man, There is the CBA looming out there. it would be wise to stick with garrett now because the offseason is uncertain, keep continuity. pick up draft picks and vets. My question is who is scouting for us. release some of these players underacheiving. listen to Garrett's plan for the team, it is not fair to judge him on a few games and no offseason

Singtetary should be our new " D " coordinator.. Well get used to it, because as you know Jerry isn't going anywhere or Jason. No Im thinking our 1-15 team (89) was our worst defense. The New York Yankees went 16 years without a Championship. This is our 16th year. Romo got hurt because of our rookie running back, not our line. Shango, I completely agree with you, this teams window has closed, what a shame to waste the primes of the stars on this team. I have resigned myself to the fact that as long as Jerry is running the show, we will never get back to the SB. I have been a Cowboy fan for over 20 years and the only smart move I ever saw Jerry make, was giving Jimmy complete control over the team. Ever since Jimmy left, its been downhill. there is no leadership in the coaching staff of the Cowboys. You can't name one leader in the Cowboys organization PERIOD, staff OR players. Yall just got a lot of pretenders in Cowboy land. There isn't that ONE coach or player that is a TRUE leader or hard nose guy who will stand up and won't take lackluster play for NOTHING. That guy SHOULD be the coach, QB, or a LB (ie ray lewis type). There's none. Leadership from those positions lead to playin as a TEAM, no weak moments, no immaturity.

First off.. well done Witten, Kitna, Ware and McBriar. The rest of the those in key positions are inconsistent and replaceable. Overall, the D played well. WRs lost this one.
Not going for the 2-point conversion was the right decision with a 3rd-string quarterback, as losing that extra point would have been the same as Beuhler's missed extra point that everyone is upset about.
Garrett is smart, and I would really like to see him stay on and make decisions for the team's future in the draft.

What type of team are we? We are the type of "team" that has good/great players that do not play together as a TEAM. The Patriots have some studs, no doubt, but they have a lot of average players that play great as a TEAM. Only a strong head coach and some true leaders can make that happen for us.

i respect your opinions. But the Steelers OL is not protection Big Ben very well either. Their D is so great, they can overcome it. I don't think there is a window in football anymore. Teams go from 5-11 one year to the playoffs the next every year. It's also weird to think that Parcells wanted to leave the Patriots becaus he couldn't shop for the groceries.

Refs, commentators were incredibly biased. Bad calls by the refs all night ,when Dallas was on offense the criteria for pass interference changed dramatically, ( Rodgers Cromartie held Austin's arm down, would've went for a big game, wasnt called) (James' int that was challenged, was obviously an INT) but when two pick six's are added to biased refs winning becomes hard. Defense coudlnt stop that last drive, which is why they are taking heat despite playing a little better.

When Romo is finished playing at a high level, then the Cowboys' "window" is truly closed. But agree with Shango, that there are too many holes on the team to fill immediately. It's going to take 2-3 years to rebuild the o-line and add some playmakers on defense.

i believe this team is a team of set pieces but a timid chess player. They have pro bowlers, they should have a demon of a run blocking offensive lineman. Tony Romo i think has made the team his, or had it made his. With the face gone, the team doesnt have an identity. Wade is gone, his defense is gone. The defense seems to be left cluttered and confused. I want to see how this offseason goes. Oh on a side note, i hope they keep barber. I love that guy, and he definately has a passion

Jesus Christ, Shango. Not every loss is on Garrett. We've lost games by an average of 2.3 PPG, and we're winning with an inexperienced head coach and 39 year old quarterback. @HiddenLeagueDizzy JG has been holding back on this team for years with his play calling. He claims to be more of a discipliner than wade. Fact is the offense was the undisciplined side not the d. Wade had em right. The penalties are still their with players being boneheads. He does get em a little more fired up. But the offense hasnt been the same since sparono left. Maybe miami will fire him and we can bring him back.

@zeokenX Wade phillips had no say on the offense the oc was getting paid the same amount has him and was ruled to make all the offensive of moves and play calls. JG held back on wade. Wade was a glorified defensive coordinator that got a tittle of head coach with out the head coach abilities. JG screwed wade so he could take over and now hes hurt himself. Dallas should have never let Sean Payton go.

@zeokenX i havent missed a game in about 6 7 years now......the problem was not wade, the problem was he was not given the chance to run the team how he wanted it to. I wasnt crazy about him as a head coach but he wasnt bad. First things first we need to change the whole chemistry there. The chemestry there is were more talented everyone and its to lackadaisical. Are leaders are the problem. All our offensive leaders are jokes.

Jason Garrett is book smart and goes by the book to much. Instead of saying bump this lets get are playmakers the ball. Havin that natural feel of the game. Understand how to coach certain players. Good coaches shape the culture. Bill Parcels is one them guys. Jerry had say so in decisions like he does know, picks the players.

I do not care who is the head coach not many could do much with this line and A second and 3rd string QB. When Romo was there he had the #2 offense. He puts up over 30 points a game since he took over. Which is either 3rd or 4th in the lead. Why don't you give him credit? He is a good offensive coordinator and just needs jj to give him an o-line! @dante61092 I think hes a good x and o guy....his very good at drawing up plays but when its crunch time like third and shorts or any other critical time hes not great at it. I dont think hes a good play caller. Ray Lewis even stated that it was an easy predictable offense. I think you could be given this talent to any oc and the league and it would be top ten easily. The talent there makes up for alot. I just the JG is what everybody thinks he is. I rather have Norv turner as a head coach.

If we had a good defense coordinator we wouldn't be where we were right now. I know for a fact that next season will not be the same as this season. We will be good and Jason will be our coach next season not matter what everybody says. Didn't Jimmy Johnson go 1-15 his first year as coach?
