The Bach strad lines are slated going to be moved to the same plants where the Prelude models are made now in taiwan and china..... When they Briefly "made tr-300's in Ek" did they take machinery and plans out of the building???.....I heard that they did and they within the next 2 years that they are going to be doing what besson did to theirs, except it will be stads made in China/taiwan.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I wish you all the best of luck!!!
thus 1)Same machines (litteraly!!) 2) same materiel!! 3) Cheap labor, but still on the same machines....and they market it as the same horn, same line, but it's produced in india instead of england!!!!
Whatever the max time of strike time is allowed, they (Stienway) are just waiting it out and hopeing it will go away, this same thing was already done to Besson in england, what they did was move the same Machinery to a plant in India,
They (Steinway) are letting the strike go on this long in order to just allow the US Production to go overseas, and to let this "pass" as they put it....If there were no union, they would have folded it already.....
This video needs to be seen by everyone, far and wide!!!! They want to move everything to China.....Your company is being manipulated by Yamaha and other companies, so they can take over the pro instrument brass market. They are all in collusion together to this end, the FTC has long been made aware of this, but nobody knows why they won't do anything about it!!.....ask questions!!!
Thank you for taking a stand!! This is a "Made in the USA" product for a reason, Steinway should know better than this, would they do this to their Piano builders....nooooo, they wouldn't....... I have owned 8 bach strad trumpets, including an aniversery model 37 , with scroll work.......I have been a store manager of music store who tried to order as much Made in the USA horns as possible. There is a bigger scheme being played out here and them forceing you into untenible working conditions..
anybody that has a heart would know that this strike is more than just a few people out of a job. Its about 200 people that were challenged by corporate greed and rose to the challenge and decided to do something about it instead of just sitting down and doing nothing!
Currently Conn Selmer has closed down Selmer, Conn, Holton, and Leblance. Breaking unions, outsourcing and closing companies thats the Steinway way!
