the only hd dvd movie i liked at all was batman begins. it showed you how certain parts of the movie was made as the movie is playing. that was an awesome feature. and the hd dvd timeline and bookmark feature was also awesome because i could always return to my favorite scenes in the movie. i'm more of a blu-ray fan though. blu-ray has those bd-live features and cool hd features that are not available on dvd's. plus some bd's have bd chat and you can chat about the movie with other fans online.

comedy and old films are basically useless on blu ray. Blu rays i have are The Dark Knight, Batman Begins, The Prestige, Black Hawk Down, The Day After Tomorrow, and Casino Royale. Casino Royale and The Dark Knight are close competitors for the best looking blu ray that i have ever seen. Quantum of Solace and the shitty plague film Doomsday also looked very good.
