Oh man!!!.. I was 14 when this show aired on the WB, all I remembered was the alien glove and how its drawn like Aeon flux. Now that I saw this video its all coming back to me. Great show I thought id never find it...sucks most peaple see animated stories as just for kids. Wish they could have kept it going.
Wow, never thought I'd see this on YouTube, thank you for loading this TV series online. And thank you all for nothing but Good & Intelligent comments. Perhaps we all enjoy cartoons like this because we may be the only sane people of this era.
If only more people int he U.S. could view animation as an art form instead of a genre, then perhaps this show would have had a better chance. it's a real shame because it was really good. The only problem I had was the fact that as big of a risk as this series was they still decided to end it on a cliffhanger.
Holy crap I remember this! I googled "Manglers" because that's all I could remember about this show. I somehow got to the wikipedia page for this show and searched youtube and found it. Amazing!
I remember thinking that they set this up perfectly for a second season, and was so disappointed that it didn't continue. My whole family LOVED this show. I'll re-watch it, whoo hoo!
First things first, this show reminds me a lot of I Am Number Four. Now with that out of the way, thanks for uploading this. I went looking for it and couldn't remember the title, it was driving me nuts. :P I agree that TV shows these days are garbage and that the kids of today are screwed. That's why I'm planning on only showing my niece and nephew the TV shows that I grew up with. Good quality television, not the dumbed down crap you see today. :P
I remember this show on The WB 33 back in 98. I was like 7. I spent years trying to remember and something told me to search wikipedia for the old WB kids lineup and I finally found it. I wish this would come out on DVD.
This show and Road Rovers need to come to DVD. I still have hope that someone will remember both of these WB hits. I don't care if I have to wait, we cannot give up now.
man i remember when this show premiered on the WB it was so freaking cool to bad most tv shows are grabage now oh well as long as we can go back and watch the older shows from when tv was actually good
I've found it...after so many years of searching. No one ever knew what i was talking about when i mentioned this show, and i couldn't remember enough of it to search for it accurately. I thank you. My nostalgia thanks you
Thanks for uploading this! Appreciate it lots! I THINK i have this taped. I am not sure if I taped all of it. But THIS is one of my all time favorite shows. Been wondering if I would see it on this site and I'm glad I did. :)
I remember three things about this from when I saw it like 7 years ago: The pet alien Blue, the glove that crushes peoples hands and that the kid is kind of emo, whiney, in my oppinion. Maybe I should watch it again xD
I just found this again after years of asking people and getting weird looks! And hey! the guy who does the voice of the black colonel is the voice of DARPA Chief Donald Anderson/Decoy Octopus in Metal Gear Solid!
If I remember right this was aired, at least in KC on channel 62. Then called 62 kids crew, as a 4 part series. I got to see the first three and missed the last bit because my mother hates animated anything, at least she did then, and didn't understand how important it was to me. Thank you for posting these, maybe I'll get to finish it now :)
I remember when this first aired on the WB Channel 5, though I can't remember if it was called the WB yet. This was the first animated show I could remember being aired on network television in the evening. I think it was around 8:00 p.m. when other networks were showing thier usual uninspired programing. I loved this show almost as much as I loved Gargoyles. It would be nice if I could get this series on DVD but I doubt that's going to happen. I miss this show. Thank you for posting it.
@vashsunglasses There are two novels, there was a novel prequel and one that follows the 13 episode series. Unfortunately the novels don't add much in terms of further insight to the series.
@vashsunglasses Actually there are two novels: one entitled Invasion America, the other entitled On the Run. Both are by sci-fi author Christie Golden.
Two novels, specifically an adaptation of the series titled Invasion America and an original prequel novel titled Invasion America: On the Run, have been written in the show's setting. Both were written by Christie Golden.
Hey, Vash! Its HikaOoshala from the IA messageboard! How'd you get IA in HD?!
I found somewhere someone put IA on DVD! They're V-CD, at least that's what the description read! I just wish they'd put out the real DVDs! My VCD copies are getting old!
Hollywood should stop making expensive and stupid movies, reality shows, and teen dramas, and should produce more of these novel-like series. The SyFy channel better not make a sequel.
Omg. I used to have this on these horrible home-made tapes off of my crappy little tv that had foil on the rabbit ears. It was fuzzy and snowy and horrid, but I had every single episode of that mini-series taped. I'm so glad to find it here. Thank you!
I'm so glad to have found this! I thought nobody else knew or cared about this awesome mini-series since nothing was ever said about it again. It's bittersweet to see it here, knowing it'll never get finished, but at least I get to see it again.
It is interesting how there has been more and more in the media with references to aliens, and ufos. I believe it is likely because the powers that be (and I don't mean the legitimate government, I mean those behind the scenes) are laying the ground work so that we will accept the idea of an alien invasion in the near future. The truth is, it will actually be humans with hi-tech weapons, vehicles, etc. putting us on in order that we give up our remaining rights.
Thank God people are trying to preserve this. Thanks for uploading.
Invasion America is available as a torrent also. Since those punks won't release it to DVD, VHS or Blu-Ray, it's up to the 'net community to keep it alive. :)
Wow, I saw IA when it came out in 98' and fell in love with it, but haven't thought about it again until a few days ago. You're amazing for uploading this! Thanks.

Thank you for so much for posting this, even if it did take me two years to find it . . .
Unfortunately, there is not book two. The WB prime time cut the series short because, from what I heard, the show was to costly to produce and it wasn't drawing enough viewers. Also the is a book on Ivasion America, I don't know who is the author is.
It's been almost 10 years since I saw this series! Too bad it only lasted 13 episodes. The last episode ended, "End Of Book 1." Maybe this year on the 10th aniversary it will be released on DVD
OMG! I was trying to figure out what the title of that series was. Thank you sooooo much. now i can sleep. I wish they had this on dvd, that'd be awesome.
