I met this girl, not your average girl, a lonely girl, we started to know each other, then going out... one day she heard the song and loved it. afther that she became my girlfriend... bottom line is that she had a hard life and the song reflects her life. especially the part "mom never holds me. dad loves a stranger more than me". and now she is my fiancee.

You do know that Silent hill 4 was mostly story and riddle based, I don't understand why people hated it, to be honest this game was so gripping and quite challenging. I also admit the soundtrack for this was freakin' brilliant and well done :3

@Deathmetalfan90 a lot of the game was different in design compared to previous games in the series. the whole "locked up in your apartment" thing didn't sit well with some players, and add to that the segments while inside were in a FPS view.

Not to be rude but the for me SH was ruined when they made SH:4 because Silent hill was monsters and terrors but ghosts seriously, this is not Fatal Frame (yes I know in Fatal Frame you don't use Swords of Obedience or Holy Candles and that all you use in Fatal Frames is a camera) but still I love the effort they put into it and the music is Awesome! like usual.

Even though this game wasn't meant to be Silent hill 4, I'm glad I had the opportunity to play it and finish it. Just as you should be.

haha, you notice that the songs with singing in and a catchable melody get so much views, while some of the other tracks from SH4 get unapreciated. It's like people need some 'normal' structure to listen to and identify with. Personally, this is one of my least favourite songs-from the ost. I can see why people like it though.

I love the drums on this song, one of the only things I prefer on the SH4 soundtrack to the SH2 soundtrack is that the drums generally sound more organic and aren't obvious loops like alot of the SH2 tracks were. Probably my second favourite SH soundtrack after SH2

No doubt eh.. I am a Final Fantasy fan and I just wish they would recreate FF7 so it had more realistic graphics.. Silent Hill is one of my favorite horror games though, aside from The Suffering which has in my opinion some of the most bad ass disturbing creatures ever, along with the fact you have to escape a penitentiary on an island that has had a long history of psychotic violence.. But overall the Silent Hills soundtrack has always mind f#%*#d the hell out of me.

Ya if you own the game you can watch an extra video about the making of the suffering. Most of the instruments were just regular stuff you can find around the house. They wanted to make the game unique in every aspect and they most certainly succeeded.

I love FF a lot and I'll definitely pick up FFXIII when it comes out but the series is shit compared to the impact SH games really have on you. They make you think, make you look at yourself and the world for what they really are. Nothing in FF has given me a revelation like SH. Sorry but FF is crap compared to SH...
