This movie is so racist it's not even stupidly funny.

Most of the movie you don't even see any Arabs, just graffiti on walls and such showing swastika's and calling for killing Jews, connecting Arabs directly with the Nazi's.

The only Arabs shown in the movie are depicted killing anyone and everyone they can, and the odd occasions the Arab's actually speak they only taunt and berate Jews.

This movie script reads like it came right from the Israeli government's propaganda machine.

I can't blame some of the Jews at the time for being against the British appointed Grand Mufti. One thing I think most Israelis and Palestinians can agree on is that the British royally screwed up matters there for both sides.

It just sickens me that the minority Zionist elements of Jewish society are portraying Arabs almost the exact same way as the Nazi's portrayed Jews during the 3rd Reich. Yet the majority of Jews who aren't Zionists seem to ignore it or possibly approve of it.

Did you watch the whole movie? Its Taha (the Arab mayor) who warns Ben-Canaan (the Haganah leader) about the Mufti's planned attack...thus giving the Haganah time to prepare. So if you'd watched the movie you'd know the main Arab character is essentially a hero. And Ben-Canaan's speech at the end calls for peace and equality.

The parts of the movie depicting the Mufti's forces as pro-nazi are based on recorded historical fact- but when referring to these incidents Ben-Canaan never says "the Arabs", he says "the Grand Mufti's men".
