@iDoWutiWant1 For sturgeon yes but you will need a bigger one than the one here. It's not so good for carp because you need to cast it and you need the line to run with none or close to no resistance. Proper carp fishing requires you to rely on the weight of the lead to snag or preset the hook in the carps mouth or lip while letting the line run through a bite alarm. These poles and reels are made to set upright while the proper carp setup is supposed to hang down into a bite alarm.

No rock music in the background...the guys in the video were not A holes...no shouting or acting like retards....and everyone was well spoken and understandable...the camera man was even flawless showing when to set the hook...etc...then went right to the fish when it was visible...thanks for posting...!!!

As far as i know you are supose to let the catfish"run" with the bait and then set the hook .Any way nice catfish :):)

@runescaper86 Carp is illegal to use as bait in MN, alive or dead. That includes cutbait as well.
