  • I had developed so much pain in my calves while running that I had to stop running. I went to my chiropractor and he used this technique on my calves. It worked great (although quite painful) and I was back running in a few weeks.

  • I thought it isnt such a great idea to stroke the instrument against the grain of the venous oneway valves in the calf area.....

  • @markusbdc I couldn't tell you. I'm just the video editor and web designer. Dr. Craig doesn't work with Advanced Sports Chiropratic anymore either, so I can't really ask him. Dr. John has become certified recently, I can ask him if you'd like.

  • Wow, good deep tissue massage therapists have been doing this work for years without all the ' tools ' and yap. Another example of chiropractic doing much less for way more money. Ride that insurance gravy train !

  • Totally agree. How can you feel what's going on using a METAL instrument? It may save the therapist's thumbs on cross fibre friction but no point if you can't feel what you're doing!

  • @rcbakewell good one retard...you dont know shit about chiropractic or soft tissue therapy

  • If it works, Great! I use ASTYM. I think the tools are more comfortable and findings appear to show that less invasive works better; also, if I were to treat the calf, I would also treat the foot, knee and thigh throughout the entire LE kinetic chain.
