Can someone make a tut on how to get the jvc footage on a windows pc. I've read converting and I just want a solution that's free. I tried renaming and it didn't work. I've had the hd6 for over a year now and still can't get it on my movie editor. I've found 1 site but you have to pay to use it and it turned my footage into crap.

if it comes with an Everio Media Browser box it up and take it back...my camera works fine however, the Everio Bowser quit working after 3 months....Pixela says they do not have a fix??man they sold millions of these things....

@orzelos I heard that the battery was very bad, an hour at most...but you can buy a 5-6hour batter for like $100 at bestbuy. I'm not sure how long you can record on the highest settings though, check out hsn(.)com

Wow, I have one that's a few years old that was more than this and only does 720x480 haha. I am happy with the camera though. It's easy to copy files and make divx, etc.

I'm looking to get an HM400 but I need to do commercial projects. If not for that, I would get this.
