Yeah, you're a bit of an idiot though considering you missed the ENTIRE POINT of Left 4 Dead. It's not about killing as many zombies as possible, it's about working together to survive. I'm guessing you just ran away and starting shooting, got owned by a horde or a special infected and then cried like a little fps boy. COD4 is a totally different game, you cannot even compare the two. Also, the aim in L4D is fine, so I guess your aim is shite then. There's a crosshair for a reason.
