This is probably the best Clampett cartoon I ever saw (besides The Piggy Bank Robbery, Old Grey Hare and Wabbit Twouble...and especially the 30s clampett cartoons and up to Nutty News)
This is actually my favorite of Clampett's Tweety cartoons. My favorite part is when Tweety searches for the putty tat not realizing he's inside his mouth. I also love "Help! Help! (cough cough) The putty tat is on fire! Help! Help!"
It is the last Merrie Melody produced by Leon Schlesinger ("Buckaroo Bugs," was not only the last short produced by Schlesinger, who would die on Christmas Day 1949, but it was also his last Looney Tune and was also Bugs Bunny's Looney Tunes debut).
At one point in this particular short, Caroll, Tweety is seen whistling while strolling along, but one cannot help (including yours truly) but wonder if the "whistling" is really someone playing a flute and Tweety's lip-puckering is timed to it.

This is the last standard-issue Merrie Melody to bear Leon Schlesinger's name on it.
