I met this Wino years ago, and saw the Obsessed twice here in the same city. He was very nice and well spoken not to mention a terrific musician. We even talked about this obsure 70's groups including Hard Stuff. He signed my obsessed cd and a few old st. vitus records. He is a credit to the hard rock industry and it is a crime that he is not more well known.

Saint Vitus is nothing short of legendary to doom metal fans.. Probably less than 1% of bands "make it" financially (which I'm sure is what you're trying to say), by your reasoning Justin Bieber is superior to Wino. Wino rules have fun being a negative nancy.

i saw his new band "wino" at a clutch concert this week(it's a side project of clutch's drummer)wasn't as impressed as i was with jp gaster's sideband "lionize"who also warmed-up for clutch.the sound wasn't great until wino switched guitars for the last two songs.those two were much better,imo.the stuff i'm hearing here sounds good.

That's Purple Neon Dream by The Hidden Hand. It's off the album Resurrection of Whiskey Foote. I HIGHLY recommend picking it up. The entire album is flawless, in my opinion.

I was very fortunate to see The Obsessed support Prong years and years ago.. But when St.Vitus played their only English gigs in 1990 i was in the States (How ironic!)..Then he played here with The Hidden Hand ,but there was no advertising!!! I so want St Vitus to come back to England...AAARRRGGGHHHH!! They played Europe a couple of years ago..but i couldn't go...(AGAIN!!) Wino If you are reading this PLEASE come back to England... Thanx for listening..i'm off to buy your solo album now....

If anybody has an hour to spare, I highly recommend you check out this interview in it's entirety. It really gives you better insight into who Wino really is. He goes in depth with some very philosophical and intelligent conversation. He seems like a really genuine down to Earth guy, but at the same time you can tell he is a thorough examiner of spiritual, political, and philosophical aspects of life. I'd love to sit down and chat with him myself.

Well #1,where is the rest of this interview?I wanna see it!And #2 I met Wino in 2005,He was a true gentleman...not a rock star at all,we spoke for about 15-20 mintues and it was amazing.He signed my arm and "Metal Maniacs" snapped a pic of it...I dont think they used the photo but hey...I still remember that night when I met one of my musical idols...fucking killer!
