awesome video! Instantly subscribed. You got a very clear way of explaning and slowly and repeatingly showing the moves. You also explain it from micro to macro: how do you make a single move more dramatic and how does your routine function as a whole?

You are a master of your craft. Unbelievable... I've only seen a couple of your videos and I don't even know where to start. You're so good it's almost depressing to watch lol keep up the great work!
Mr. Chris, I'm a 4th year high school student from Philippines and our teacher gave our class bartending/flairing as our practicum... can you suggest some good music for our routine? and a tasty mocktail drink to mix?
I am a new bartender and you have really helped me double my tips!! i am still learning though by your videos which are very helpfull, excellent explained and inspiring! I am working in a greek island in a cocktail beach bar and other bartenders do not do flair here! so that made me wanted by other bars and clubs! all thanks to you!! you should come in greece btw!! keep educating us!!

i just wanted to follow a course for learn flair,... but thanks to u,.. i have the possibility to learn whithout spending nothing,.. thanks again for the good work,...
last week i had an offer by one of the agency here in philippines to send me in macau as bartender. will the salary for me is good because 1000 us dollar but i was rejected. the reason why? flairing is the most one requirement. i was so depress. and i think its time to move on. practice, practice, practice. and thank you for your videos. I hope someday i will become a good bartender and good also in flairing and we can meet and personally say you THANK YOU.
i had an instructor before but we did it one time only. very expensive. your videos are very detailed, catchable, perfect. I will schedule this 1 lesson per day so that i can master each move.
Dud thank you very much for uploading your videos and sharing to everybody. You know I'm very lucky that i got your videos and now i presently grabbing the lesson 21. I am a bartender here in Pegasus Ktv Bar and Restaurant in Philippines right here in Quezon City along Quezon Avenue. With your help i think i dont need to go to school to look someone to teach me.
hey man, im Yan, a bartender from Israel, i wanted to aks you if there are actually bars you can use flairnig tricks in the US, cuz in israel its very hard to find bars that let you use flairing... I allso wanna aks how long you been practicing flairing. tnx a lot
Good question. I haven't competed in an FBA event in 2 years, so I'm not sure where my ranking would be. I can say that I've competed in both the US and Canada, and taken everything from last place (my first comp!) to first place. I've competed against Rodrigo Delpech, Rodrigo Cao, Levi Donaldson, Martin Janica, Ati Tedesco, and many other exceptional flair bartenders. And they all kicked my butt. However, my goal isn't to be the best flair bartender in the world, but the best flair teacher...
Actually, I live in Madison, Wisconsin. Lived in Las Vegas briefly a couple years back. Great place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there again:)
Madison is a great little city. I've lived in enough places to know that Madison is where I want to be. Easy-going quality of life, lowest unemployment in the nation, beautiful seasons, one of the best towns in the US for bicycling, good culture/restaurants/nightlife. Bartenders here do pretty good - won't make as much we would in bigger cities, but I wouldn't give up everything else for just a little more money.
Dude your great man! =) Finally nice to see some good instructional videos man. But where do you learn all of these moves? Cause so far i just learn them from watching great bartenders like Christian Delpech or Tom dyer and ripping of their moves. Which are really hard cause i don't even know the basics. And you seem to know what you talking about yeah. So..hope to hear from you soon. Cheers
Hi, thanks for your comment on my video. I was lucky enough to learn by working with some great flair bartenders: Martin Janica, Danny Rossi, Jeff Rogers, etc. However, I originally with a couple training videos (Ken Hall, Christian Delpech). It's really important to start with the basics. Delpech, etc. have some amazing vids but it's really hard to jump in at that level. Get your basic moves down, learn how to combine them, and come up with your own. Good luck, keep practicing!
Heyy dude!! Aww thanks for the great reply. Yeah i've kinda just started flairing just bout 2 months ago and find it SO interesting. But yeah..laying down the basics are not as easy as it looks when the pros do it man! Haha, it's hard to flair here as well as there aren't many flairer's here as in US. But yeah...will keep practicing mate. Getting loads of bruises now as well. Thanks for your videos man. Keep it up and have fun! Take care. =)
nice video ... becuase fot his video i have been admitted to the bar toppers at my school .. well thanks mongo ,, haha hope i see more revisable moves.. thanks
tnx for the video :D

Glad you're enjoying the videos and more importantly that they're making your shift more interesting. That's what got me started too.
Just remember when you're first starting out as a bartender to learn your drinks and give rockstar service first, flair comes second:)

@MangoMyers i agree, being good at flair does not make you a good bartender.

Spending nothing???? You're not going to get a job if you speak/write like that.
Spending anything. Learn correct English :)
