  • is thiis a rolling stones cover coz if it aint it sounds a hell of a lot like em

  • its not but yeah they were goin for the rolling stones type of sound when they made this

  • It is a treat being able to revisit this song, many years after the fact, and all at a click of a mouse. This group really had an interesting fusion and mixed inspiration in their music.

  • You are right agentrrsoul, fantastic song, Really amazing.

  • This is one of those songs that gets better & better the more you hear it. The louder the better. Great tune.....

  • You're right.

  • Heard this the first time on GTA San Andreas :D

    Awesome song

  • One of the best songs ever made, methinks.

  • best scottish band ever

  • proclaimers....

  • i never heard of this band before, i heard this song on youtube in the background and i now cant stop humming along to the lyrics!

  • WOW!!!

Mick Jagger and Slash in the same band!!!!

    Awesome

on a serious note, Great song...

  • so what if theyre good why not

  • I found this great song tnx to GTA SA :)

"I was blind, like Wu-Zi-Mu, now I can see!" :D

  • lol

  • One of my Faves - got a real Gospel feel to it.

  • aaaaaaaah san andreas:)

  • The comparisons with the classic Stones sound are apt...this was produced by former Stones/Traffic producer Jimmy Miller..."I'm a Man", "Honky Tonk Women" (he is also the cowbell in that one for you "more cowbell" fans), and Exile on Main Street. Primal Scream wanted that sound and he gave it to them. Miller died of liver cancer three years after this came out. Amazing record!

  • This song gives me such a lift. If you ever feel down stick it on, you'll soon feel ok

  • just agreat song! i love it.

  • they're the scottish 90s version

  • looks and sounds like the early stones. this is what the times should still be like

  • This song is so uplifting! :)

  • how much does this sound like the rolling stones. (that's a good thing btw)

  • Very much, particularly Sympathy for the Devil

  • Radio x

    San Andreas

  • finally i found it =o from gta radio x

  • GTA SA ftw, too bad the uploaders of these songs (expecially from SA) got suspended, same is happenning to trance uploaders, its not like camgirls are worse..

    on Radio X

    San Andreas

  • GTA San Andreas

  • Fall into the Gap!! Remember...

  • kinda sounds like the Stones, and he kinda dances like Mick Jagger.

  • that's exactly who they're parodying.

  • Makes me happy

  • what happened to Robert "Throb" Young?

  • Awesome guitar solo.

  • i love this song

  • damn this song is so...lion king style, man/

    love it!

  • :-)

  • It's actually "my life shines on" not light or love although when I generally play this one I usually sing it as "my love shines on"sounds, I dunno, somehow less individual and more universal.

  • whos on drums on this one?

  • Makes me smile every time, singin my love shines on :)

  • This track is amazing, this guitar is chur

and the text, literally everything is super.

Greetings from the man from Poland;) and sorry for any errors language

  • Your and my light shine´s on!!!

    Excelent song

  • This song is just one of those , that just makes you want jump and dance and let all of lifes problems go.

    I love this song.

  • this song is great

  • How old is this band ? I see the guitarist's style look's like the slash's style .... no ?

  • Yeah, both bands started in the mid eighties and peaked (arguably) in the early nineties. Both are also rock and roll bands with very similiar influences, such as the Stones and punk.

  • slash who?

  • Ur Right There xD

  • gta picks great music :D

  • i first heard this on grand theft parsons and have loved it my whole life it's amazing calm down homies xxx

  • I think he looks and acts too much like Mick Jagger , but the song is not bad.

  • he's doin' that on purpose

  • really? some feud?

  • I heard this song on GTA:SA and I have to say, I loved this song the first time I heard it. It lifts you up, I'll say that for it. It has nothing to do with RACE either. It has to do with something that transcends all that horse-shit.

It deals with our spirits, something we ALL share, no matter what color we are. I wish some of you guys down in the deep south would get that through your fucking skulls sometimes.

  • I LOVE WHITE PEOPLE - Yea

    Suck it up

  • wtf? what's with all these comments, chill out people

  • stop the racism ffs. if people dont like the song dont listen, doesnt mean everyone has to start getting racist. it doesnt matter who started it, your all stupid for letting yourself get drawn into it and trying to punish racism with more racism.

  • excelent song hahahaah

  • And when i say they are lovely people i mean themselves as people nothing to do with race.

  • I live in a bungalow with mum, morgage paid, single, 17 in college. im better of than you are.

  • Anyway lets all enjoy the tune.

  • nigger. o sorry did i say that.

  • im not racist...only to you. im friends with many different races lovely people. but you you define racism. black fucking scum.

  • im in a gang ( 22nd street boys ) with mostly african americans and they think your racist, so :P

  • Yeah im in a band too! the KKK... The krazy kooky kids!

  • dont watch it and then it will be off your 'video screen'.....fecking eejit

  • absolute wanker - if your gonna put a classic, make sure it doesn't fucking jump about or whatever. Let's enjoy the classic

  • The greatest video I have ever seen. Very amazing, it really catches me. It could be Mick Jagger in his best, but its not. It is Bobby fucking Gillespie.

    Love the song/video.

    My cup of tea.

  • this song and loaded are the 2 best songs that you will ever hear. come on BOBBY G.

  • So beautiful with the gospelchoir, one of the best songs ever

  • is this guy actually blind??

  • very nice

  • ur mom

  • Hell Yes!! I was pist today, Now i am Happy!!

  • 最高!!!!!!!!!

  • uh

    word up game

  • great solo

  • it might be the biggest rip off ive ever heard, but its still a tune

  • This song is pretty old from what i hear, but I discovered it about 4 years ago. When I bought GTA San Andreas. lol

  • bobby's takin da piss..doin a bit of mick n dat

  • What a beautiful solo.

  • esta fregona y buen cambio nada mas fijense como suena ahora eso era hace años

  • Great video for a great song, it look's like they have their time of their life.

  • wot year was tht ppl?

  • 92 i tink, been lot of 24 hour parties and some since then

  • choon :)

  • Great song, shame about Bobby's very poor and cringeworthy Mick Jagger impersonation.

  • And lest we forget,he was most likely off his tits here on the vid.

  • haha, well ok,maybe graceful is being too kind, but nevertheless I'm sure you can see the openness of movement he displays.Makes some stiffs from dancefloors look like they are just out of all over body plaster from injuries.

  • fuk attempting any of the mad shit on the dancefloor, id be straight in with a dropkick + take u out

  • Hot date, been trying nail this bird for weeks (like everyone else on our course) when she ask's to buy me a drink: result.

The DJ bang's this number on, so I ask if she wants to dance - sure, she says.

We hit the floor, me giving it my best bobby impression and lovin' it. 20 seconds in, she walks off and never speaks to me again for the rest of the course! Just so funny as fuck, a Classic

  • that is a classic moment mate. i was once doing my best Shaun Ryder dance and thinking i looked the dogs bollocks when a girl asked if i had a back injury! cheeky cow

  • LOL!

    LOVE THIS SONG

  • Can I just say that without Mick Jagger, there wouldn't even be a Bobby Gillespie 'dance' to debate!!! ..so dancing in a gay way can't be all bad as Mick and his many 1000's of women can testify!! ...Brill singer, band and song by the way!!!

  • ojdsjfoaufhhhfu seems like a bigot american or worse, a homophobic arab-american.

  • whatever dude

  • Bobby aint gay,he's just free and graceful. And as anyone who has taken tons of chems knows you have to become open and loose to take the energy released. And anyway, what about it if he was gay?.....you homophobes need to quit being stuffed shirts.....one of these days your wrists are going to just crack off.Relax and feel the love.

  • LOL Gracefrul? The guy looks like he's having a seizure.

Don't get me wrong, I love Primal Scream, but Bobby can't dance.

  • bobby gillespie is not a gay, damn you all homophobes.

  • you find this song in gta san andreas

  • Only Primal Scream can do this kind of song and get away with it, keeping their fanbase while switching music genre more often than usa invades a 3rd world country

  • haha, they don´t change their genre THAT often

  • i like this song....

  • my dad smacked the leadsinger around the back of the head like 10 years ago in a pub in london

  • Early 90's put out the best bands ever, Primal, RATM, Stone Roses, Charlatans to name a few I wish I was like 10 years older so I could've lived out the decade the way everyone else got to.

  • I agree, except for RATM...

  • and smashing pumpkins :D

  • Another band I found with the help of San Andreas.

Great Record, Great Band, Amazing Game.

  • awesome song gay singer

  • The "gay singer" is the guy who wrote this song.

  • i said he was gay because he was moving and dancing in a really stupid way and i fully appreciate that he wrote that amazing song and i'm sorry if i offended any sensitive people here

  • who cares about anything? PEACE MAN

  • that's what I like about this song! How it makes you FEEL

  • At 2:20

  • when was this song made and when did the band brake up

  • This is late 80s, early 90s I think. They still exist and they just released an album.

  • o cool thx

  • To be precise, it was 1991 and the album the album is from 'Screamadelica' is absolutely brilliant by the way.

  • gta sa

  • the rhythm guitarist is annoying he keeps dancing

  • P-R-I-M-A-L S-C-R-E-A-M 4 eva live on shine on and rock on

  • av luvd ths band 4ever

  • I was playing GTA SA and I decided to see the names of the musics on Radio X and K-DST and I found this Primal Scream music and in 3 days I'm going to see them live in Paredes de Coura Festival, Portugal! :D

  • You're going to go see them just because of what happened three days ago - as ex tempore thing?

  • No, It was my second year in Paredes de Coura. I love the festival, not only for the bands, but also because of the spirit. I saw them, but I think they didn't played this song...

  • Alright, I gotcha!

  • what do u mean ex tempore thing

  • By ex tempore I mean doing something without planning it. For example, you see a travel agency ad on the window "Trips to Europe -50%", you enter the shop at that second and buy that trip - EX TEMPORE!

  • tive la e rulou ;)

  • omg so much memories! back in 05 when i got sanandreas!!!

  • I found this via San Andreas too. RADIO X 4ever!!!!

  • san andreas w000t best game in the worlldlldldld

  • SA!!

  • Because of GTA: San Andreas this song grew on me!

  • lmao i no!!!!!!!!!!!! lol i love that game and it grew on me so much lol

  • Same here! Going to collect Sweet during 'Homecoming' I always have this song blaring out.

RADIO X FTW! It has Mani on it's playlist twice!

  • um, actually, Mani didn't play on Screamadelica. He didn't even join Primal Scream until 1996...

  • Oh right, well I feel dumb now. Lol.

  • classe "A"

  • just geil!

  • He looks a lot like Jagger on this one! Well to be honest this is kinda that stones-doing-gospel tunes.

  • Absolutely, he even moves like Jagger.

  • A pure classic nut case, but one hell of a tune!

  • i like it...

  • woooooo remindes me of GTA good times :P

  • which gta is this from? can't remember it..

  • Love it

  • I love this song! If it wasn't for Telewest Active Digital I wouldn't know this song!

  • that's good music baby! love it

  • COOL !!!!!

  • Does Gillespie think he's Jagger or something?

  • YEAH! That was my first reaction too. Know I know I am not alone.

  • Yes, and he pretty much is too.
