I didn't personally know Pastor Zachary Tims but blessing's to the person that did this video in rememberance of him.We have all sinned and come short of the Glory of God.We need to make sure we have it together instead of judging others.We all have a past.It could be lieing,gossiping,stealing,etc.One sin is no better than another.Earthly man don't have a heaven or hell to put anyone in.Make sure your soul is right with Jesus and pray for others and show love.Continued prayers for his family!

I did not know pastor Tims personally, all I know God expects all of us not just to be good but to be Holy by living a life of Holiness according to His Holy Word. Their is a big difference between being good and Holy for a lot of just good people are going to be lost for one can be good but still unsaved not living by Gods Word. If you want to know the difference then study God's Word as He instructs us to do, then you will know for yourself as you should, the difference and what he expects.

only GOD knows what happen in his death,some say he was poison (that's possible) and some say he overdose on drugs (that's also possible) we don't know for sure yet.we only can go on our opinion right now due to the little info we have about his death,but our opinions can be wrong.
For those who are making negative comments my only advice is that you watch your own salvation with fear and trembling. Are you ready to meet the Lord? If it were, Jesus Himself would have been disqualified. Pastor Zach should not have had to experience the temptation, torment and taunts of the enemy alone. Where were his confidants? I think this death needs to be investigated more..this was a true man of God..oh sure he was once on drugs..but he repented and was saved..this would be the perfect way to fool people into thinking he died like this..we need to see the video of him when he came to this hotel..I gurantee you he wasn't alone..I believe someone was with him and they fled the scene..this needs to be treated as a homicide..If this was my husband ex or not..or my brother..they would have to assure me he died like this

I didn't know anything about the divorce or any scandal...but I do know that we have lost one dynamic Preacher of the Gospel! I can understand if it was pain that may or may not have drove him because sometimes PAIN is so bad that it hurts to get up out of bed...but then we have to put on a MASK for the world and no one really understand the hurt that one person can endure..when they are left alone! We cannot judge Pastor Tims...cause we all are fighting pain in one way or another! god is ABLE!!

God used this man to encourage me many days, and most of the time I just happen to be flipping through the channels and there he was. Again, I needed encouragement at this moment and that clip truly brought me to tears. "If God did it the last time, he will do it this time"..Amen Zachery..RIP..No more pain or suffering for you. No man can judge you, you are with the Lord either way.

As an addict, all I can say is..."There but for the grace of God go I" I'm grieved that Pastor Tims did not make use of the many tools of recovery that God in his mercy has made available to wretches like us. Go to church...go to meetings and work those 12 Steps your recovering addicts. There is no redemption plan for the felesh. No matter how set free, anointed & sanctified one can become by the grace of God...know that addiction NEVER gets born again
@TheHurlco -I believe in his pain he resorted back to drugs, I don't believe this was something he had been doing over a long period of time. I believe he was truly lonely after the divorce and loss of his family. He paid for what he did in more ways than one, that is for sure. He paid in losing his reputation and family. He lost that spark in his eye, I noticed that spark in his eye was gone after the scandal. But, God knows best and I believe he had served his purpose here on earth.
@SPOKENFOR36 - I totally agree brother. Just to clarify. I'm the last guy to point a condescending finger of judgement at anyone who succumbs. As a recovering opiate addict, I'm intimately aware of how cold the embrace of the unholy trinity (Crack, Smack & Jack) can be. Addicts relapse because they are addicts...not because of pain. Many die after a prolonged period of clean time with just one use because (physiologically speaking) your system can't handle it. There but for the grace of God...
@TheHurlco -Well, I am no expert on drug addiction. I've never been addicted to any drug except "Nicotine" and I kicked that by the power of God over a year ago. ( Overnight with no with-drawl symptoms or desire to smoke cigarettes again). So, I can't speak for that. I know that I use to drink, but was never addicted and there were times when I was down and out and thought about a drink..but deep down did not want it. My mom is a crack addict and when in pain she goes back to crack.
@jatamode -That is possible as well. I just for some reason do not believe they did, but it is VERY possible. Anything is possible.....Either way, it does not matter if he was back on drugs or if they planted them. He served his purpose and God used him greatly and he is now at rest..:)
@jatamode -I love the song they are playing, "He saw the best in me". No matter what happened, God still saw the best in him and used him to minister to many people. Thank God for seeing the best in my wretched messed up self and still makes the decision use me in spite of me. It is never about 'us' anyway, the flesh is is a mess, period and will act up. God knows this, of course he knows it. Who else can God use except wretched people such as ourselves? Let me know when you find out..haha!

He was lost and alone and could not bring himself to confide in anyone about his drug problem. If only he wouldn't have let pride and the fear of what people or his congregation would think of him and gotten the help that he needed for his drug problem, he would still be with us here today. @wachamov -Yes, my heart and prayers go out to the family as well. I did just see a clip of a few ministers gathering at the church including his ex-wife. She said 'she' initiated a trip with the family a week ago where they went to Puerto Rico. I am glad to hear that, I am glad to see that it looks like she really had forgiven him at least, that is truly powerful and I am glad to hear that. I tell you, we are so not perfect and need forgiveness, mercy, and love IN SPITE OF US. We need it. :)
@SPOKENFOR36 I have known him since he was 27 years old before his mega church when he and Riva were in the storefront church. So we were members for many years until we moved and he and Riva split up. We loved them both and and would not choose between them. So we decided it best not to attend either church. I do not care to focus on his transgressions that is up to the Lord, but I will always remember the wonderful things he and Riva did for the community.
@wachamov -That is all that matters in the end, what he did for others. None of us are perfect, none of us. I did visit the church when it was a storefront YEARS ago--back in the late 90's as well. So, no man can judge him, none. Amen. :)

God is wonderful, but he also said that its not good for man to be all one.. we are not supposed to exist on this plan all one (alone).. it does something to us that God never intended for us to feel or experience.

I did not know Pastor Tims personally, but I loved the way The Lord used him to minister the word of God, he was an anointed man of God and a blessing to so many. Rest in peace. To the church family be encourage and remember all that pastor Tims has taught you about the Word of God and cherish those precious moments. I agree. THIS WAS, AND IS A PRECIOUS MAN OF GOD. We, as leaders, need to have individuals that we can confide in, confess our faults and struggles to, without fear of reproach. TEMPTATON IS NOT SIN! If it were, Jesus Himself would have been disqualified. Pastor Zach should not have had to experience the temptation, torment and taunts of the enemy alone. Where were his confidants? Cynthia: this is the best tribute video I have seen thus far....never met Dr. Zachary Tims but I have been in grief since I found out about his untimely passing and in tears for the past 3 days. I live in NY wish I could have been there....Only God knows but Reverend inspired me.....could only imagine the pain he endured after his divorce.....I will truely miss him but I realize God must have needed him more.....sleep on Pastor....does not matter what people say....they crucified Jesus...

Zachary Tims was an AWESOME MAN!! He touched the lives of many people including my own. I am proud of him! he came, did his work, and left this earth, that's what we are all here to do. One day you will die to and I hope that he gives you the courage to help others become closer to God. WE ALL have sinned and fallen short of God's glory- even negative judgement is SIN. him in a mighty way. I don't know what battles he may have had to deal
with.....but God knows and cares. I will miss seeing his smiling face on TV.Tears roll down my face as I watched this video. My mother is 84 years old
and still using drugs....yes she knows the Lord....like I said only God knows all.

Pastor Tims, you were an awesome man of Gid. I am from Ga and I am a delievered addict. May the Holy Spirit continue to comfort your children and your family. The Lord give it and the Lord take it away. It was for others around him. It does not matter who you are God is still in cntrol. You will be missed. Why, my God is his death brothering me so bad? Is it because I need to get out and tell people about a man named Jesus who delivered a woman from drungs 12 years ago? Alcohol, etc.....

I think this death needs to be investigated more..this was a true man of God..oh sure he was once on drugs..but he repented and was saved..this would be the perfect way to fool people into thinking he died like this..we need to see the video of him when he came to this hotel..I gurantee you he wasn't alone..I believe someone was with him and they fled the scene..this needs to be treated as a homicide..If this was my husband ex or not..or my brother..they would have to assure me he died like this

I didn't know anything about the divorce or any scandal...but I do know that we have lost one dynamic Preacher of the Gospel! I can understand if it was pain that may or may not have drove him because sometimes PAIN is so bad that it hurts to get up out of bed...but then we have to put on a MASK for the world and no one really understand the hurt that one person can endure..when they are left alone! We cannot judge Pastor Tims...cause we all are fighting pain in one way or another! god is ABLE!!

Again, I am in tears. Even in his death he as encouraged me AGAIN in that clip they showed of him preaching. God used this man to encourage me many days, and most of the time I just happen to be flipping through the channels and there he was. Again, I needed encouragement at this moment and that clip truly brought me to tears. "If God did it the last time, he will do it this time"..Amen Zachery..RIP..No more pain or suffering for you. Father obviously had His hand on his life. As an addict, all I can say is..."There but for the grace of God go I" I'm grieved that Pastor Tims did not make use of the many tools of recovery that God in his mercy has made available to wretches like us. Go to church...go to meetings and work those 12 Steps your recovering addicts. There is no redemption plan for the felesh. No matter how set free, anointed & sanctified one can become by the grace of God...know that addiction NEVER gets born again

@TheHurlco -I believe in his pain he resorted back to drugs, I don't believe this was something he had been doing over a long period of time. I believe he was truly lonely after the divorce and loss of his family. He paid for what he did in more ways than one, that is for sure. He paid in losing his reputation and family. He lost that spark in his eye, I noticed that spark in his eye was gone after the scandal. But, God knows best and I believe he had served his purpose here on earth.

As a recovering opiate addict, I'm intimately aware of how cold the embrace of the unholy trinity (Crack, Smack & Jack) can be. Addicts relapse because they are addicts...not because of pain. Many die after a prolonged period of clean time with just one use because (physiologically speaking) your system can't handle it. There but for the grace of God...

@TheHurlco -Well, I am no expert on drug addiction. I've never been addicted to any drug except "Nicotine" and I kicked that by the power of God over a year ago. ( Overnight with no with-drawl symptoms or desire to smoke cigarettes again). So, I can't speak for that. I know that I use to drink, but was never addicted and there were times when I was down and out and thought about a drink..but deep down did not want it. My mom is a crack addict and when in pain she goes back to crack.

Thank God for seeing the best in my wretched messed up self and still makes the decision use me in spite of me. It is never about 'us' anyway, the flesh is is a mess, period and will act up. He was lost and alone and could not bring himself to confide in anyone about his drug problem. If only he wouldn't have let pride and the fear of what people or his congregation would think of him and gotten the help that he needed for his drug problem, he would still be with us here today. @wachamov -Yes, my heart and prayers go out to the family as well. I did just see a clip of a few ministers gathering at the church including his ex-wife. She said 'she' initiated a trip with the family a week ago where they went to Puerto Rico. I am glad to hear that, I am glad to see that it looks like she really had forgiven him at least, that is truly powerful and I am glad to hear that. I tell you, we are so not perfect and need forgiveness, mercy, and love IN SPITE OF US. We need it. :)

@SPOKENFOR36 I have known him since he was 27 years old before his mega church when he and Riva were in the storefront church. So we were members for many years until we moved and he and Riva split up. We loved them both and and would not choose between them. So we decided it best not to attend either church. I do not care to focus on his transgressions that is up to the Lord, but I will always remember the wonderful things he and Riva did for the community.

@SPOKENFOR36 I agreee. we always resort back to that which brings us comfort to numb our pain because during the healing process sometimes the pain is just to umbearable. life can be really lonely when there is no support. support that you can physically feel. God is wonderful, but he also said that its not good for man to be all one.. we are not supposed to exist on this plan all one (alone).. it does something to us that God never intended for us to feel or experience.
