People say, based on similarities in their playing, that PG was BH's teacher. You know, most guitar players learn by first copying other guitarists' patterns, and then starting with that they begin to make their own stuff.
So if you hear similarities in my playing with Hendrix' one, it doesn't mean that he was my teacher, it just means that he is one of my influences.
But oh well, however it stays possible that PG teached him things, he teaches guitar to soooo many people.
@oOCrossroadsOo actually, pebber brown was bucketheads teacher, you can find him here on YT he has a channel, but its true that PG was BH´s teacher for abour a year.
@Kartiolol ur a fucking retard. Go comment on some Micheal jackson shit and get the fuck out. Nobody wants to hear ur not funny bullshit you fucking ass hole. Go on. Leave, before I cock slap you in ur peezy ass head bitch.
Soothsayer is the best guitar play in the world... even better than satriani, vai, petrucci and others great guitar players... no words can express how beautiful this song is.
i'm thinking bucket must have gone to the crossroads like dylan, johnson, jordan, zep, elvis, bowie, hendrix, cobain and the rest. mabey he made that big deal with the cheif commander of this world and the one you cant see.
I Escorted Buckethead on stage when he played at my venue, and he plays so fast that in between sets he has to put his hands in a bucket of ice water and then he pours water on his hands. He never took his mask off and he was at the venue for 5 hours before he played. His manager would not let anyone in the room period and I had to guard the door for 2 hours. He actually spoke to me after I took him back to the room and he said Thanks. Thats it but he is a fucking giant, he towered over me.
I recomend (for 50 chickens at a time) D Pentatonic Major, but for other shredier darker things (Night of the Slunk, Lone Sal bug, Soothsayer) use a minor scale in whatever key the song is in
Buckethead did the soundtrack for a movie called "Ghost of mars", a movie made by john carpenter, a man notorious for his work on the horror movies The Thing and Halloween!
I can't believe you didn't put nottingham lace in it. I'm not sportsgirl or whatever. That's my sister's. I'm just using her's cauz I don't have 1, wich sux. Don't get me wrong though, the songs you put on were awesome too dude
I'd say his best albums are Decoding the Tomb of Bansheebot, The Elephant Man's Alarm Clock, Population Override, Pepper's Ghost and Crime Slunk Scene.
Awesome video, I'm glad you appreciate Buckethead as much as I do. I've never been so touched by instrumental music in my life. Check out my channel. Peace!

Here is a GREAT trivial knowledge.
Buckethead did the soundtrack for a movie called "Ghost of mars", a movie made by john carpenter, a man notorious for his work on the horror movies The Thing and Halloween!
Bassbait 3 years ago
He also made the Mortal Combat and Power Rangers Theme, and have had tunes in the Saw movies.
PennGR 3 years ago
whitewash, soothsayer, and some of those styles of songs are great. Jordan is good too, even though it was made for gh2, it's still good.

pretty much only the solo was made for guitar hero
