pretty cool race...it also is a little more impressive when you realize that the jet actually flew further than the car did...until you realize the jet can continue to accelerate the entire course whereas the car had to slow down to make the turn

First of all i'm 99% sure a normal jet flyer can't just go straight up 15 miles above sea level in about a minute or so, and even if there was a jet that could do that, the pilot will be dead before it can reach 15 miles. Second, i don't know if you are deaf, or just plain stupid, but listen to what the guy says in 0:28-0:35. I don't know if you were a inbred child or something, but you should get help, and your math sucks.

cheating : if the race was really a race then the plane should have touched the ground before finishing it......... In simple explanation, the whole lot of trouble that any plane has is the take off, coz when the tires leave the ground, an aerodynamic boost acts on the plane which is 3.5x times more fast than any hp or even portal nitroxx.. and even, if anyone thinks the veyron has much advantage of the startup delay of the plane, jet fuel proulsion easily makes it up! it was the plane all way!

LOL, as high as that jet went to do some tricks while the bugatti tried its hardest, the jet finished that race like 4 times and came back and won on camera. I like top gear but what they did to the maclaren was crap, a 1 mile drag race only because the bugatti is an obese car that can't run a 1/4 against anything. I'm sure (and I hate myself for saying this but ) that a honda with a fully built k20 turbo can beat it at a 1/4, that's what I think about that turtle....
